Hematological Malignancies

The purpose of this study is to identify the recommended Phase 2 dose(s) (RP2Ds) and schedule assessed to be safe for Teclistamab and to characterize the safety and tolerability of Teclistamab at the RP2Ds.

Nintedanib in Lung Transplant Recipients With Bronchiolitis Obliterans Syndrome Grade 0p-1-2

Lung-transplant Recipients

Lung transplantation (TxP) is now a validated treatment of end-stage pulmonary diseases, but long-term graft and patient survival are still hampered by the development of chronic allograft dysfunction (CLAD) affecting > 50% of patients. The investigators propose to conduct a phase III clinical randomized trial that will assess the efficacy of Nintedanib to hamper the lung decline in LTx recipients with BOS. This is the first trial testing this molecule in lung Tx recipients. If case of demonstrated effectiveness of Nintedanib, the benefit for lung transplant patients carrying a BO is high in terms of stabilization of lung function and enhancement of survival.

Effects of Insoles in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis: Randomized Controlled Trial.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Deformity and foot pain is nearly omnipresent (90%) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), due to the interaction between inflammation and abnormal biomechanical. These cause instability in the hindfoot, which cause deformity of the forefoot, and they cause more pressure on the plantar forefoot and more pain during daily activities. Non-pharmacological interventions (insole, footwear) have an important role, reducing pain and disability, increasing the effectiveness and improving daily activities.

Recurrent B-Cell Non-Hodgkin LymphomaRecurrent Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia21 more

The purpose of this research is to find the best dose of genetically modified T-cells, to study the safety of this treatment, and to see how well it works in treating patients with B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or did not respond to previous treatment (refractory).

Canadian Profiling and Targeted Agent Utilization Trial (CAPTUR)

LymphomaNon-Hodgkin2 more

Cancer drugs which target the effects of abnormal gene changes are called 'targeted therapies'. This study, called PM.1 or CAPTUR, will include some targeted therapies that are currently available. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the effects on a patient and their cancer when they are given a targeted therapy drug that is specific to an abnormal gene change in their cancer.

Evaluation of Umbilical Cord-Derived Wharton's Jelly Stem Cells for the Treatment of Acute Graft...

Acute Graft Versus Host Disease

This study evaluates the safety and effectiveness of two different doses of umbilical cord derived, ex-vivo cultured and expanded Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stem cells (MSCTC-0010) in the treatment of acute Graft versus Host Disease (aGVHD). The first 5 participants enrolled in the study will receive a lower dose of MSCTC-0010. If none of the first 5 participants have treatment-related serious adverse events (TRSAEs) for 42 days, then the next 5 participants will receive a slightly higher dose of MSCTC-0010.

Non-Hodgkin's LymphomaAnn Arbor Stage II Extranodal Marginal Zone Lymphoma of Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue17 more

This phase II trial studies how well obinutuzumab and ibrutinib work as front line therapy in treating patients with indolent non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Monoclonal antibodies, such as obinutuzumab, may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving obinutuzumab and ibrutinib may work better in treating patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.

Hodgkin Lymphoma

The aim of this study is to improve the chance of cure for people with higher risk Hodgkin lymphoma. The purpose of the Phase I study is to test any good and bad effects of the study drug called Nivolumab when combined with ABVD for the front-line treatment of HL.The purpose of this Phase II study is to test whether including nivolumab in treatment for untreated Hodgkin lymphoma can improve the chance of cure for patients with abnormal PET scans after 2 cycles of ABVD.
