A Pilot Study of Ketogenic Diet and Metformin in Glioblastoma: Feasibility and Metabolic Imaging...

Glioblastoma

This clinical trial is for men and women with high-grade gliomas. Glucose (sugar) is thought to be a contributor to tumor growth. The ketogenic diet (a high fat, low carbohydrate diet) and metformin (a drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat type 2 diabetes) are both known to lower blood glucose levels. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the tolerability of a ketogenic diet in conjunction with metformin and whether maintaining and the diet with metformin will have any effect on participants. Participants will prepare their own meals with the help of a nutritionist. Participants will continue on treatment as long as they are responding to therapy and not experiencing unacceptable side effects

CNCT19 Following ASCT in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory B-cell Lymphoma

Large B-cell Lymphoma

The primary objective of this study is to explore the safety and efficacy of CNCT19 (a second-generation anti-CD19 CAR T-cell using 4-1BB as co-stimulatory domain provided by Juventas, Tianjin, China) infusion following ASCT in patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphoma.

Head and Neck Cancer

This study aims to compare the analgesic activity of capsaicin patch 8% applications at 3 months interval each on the cervico-facial area versus a reference neuropathic treatment with amitriptyline in patients with head and neck cancer in remission and with sequelae neuropathic pain. In this phase II trial, patients will be assigned in one of the two treatment arms: Arm A (Experimental arm): Capsaïcin patch (Qutenza®) Arm B (standard arm): Amitriptyline (Laroxyl®) 130 patients will be included and will be followed during 9 months.

Prostate AdenocarcinomaMetastatic Prostate Adenocarcinoma1 more

This is a single-arm, multicenter open label, international, phase II study of Bipolar Androgen Therapy (BAT) plus Radium-223 (RAD) in men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Men with mCRPC with progressive disease (radiographically and/or biochemically) who have been treated with gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH)-analogue (LHRH agonists/antagonists) continuously or bilateral orchidectomy will be enrolled in this study. Previous antiandrogen therapies are permitted, but no more than one (such as abiraterone, enzalutamide, apalutamide, darolutamide). All patients will receive treatment with Radium-223 at a dose of 55 Kilobecquerel (kBq) per kilogram of body weight IV every 28 days, for 6 cycles, plus Testosterone Cypionate 400mg Intramuscular (IM) every 28 days, until progression or unacceptable toxicity.

Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL)Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma (PTCL)

This study aims to evaluate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of ex-vivo expanded allogeneic γδT cells obtained from a blood-related donor of patients with relapsed or refractory B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (B-NHL) or peripheral T cell lymphoma (PTCL) expect for γδT lymphoma.

Anti-BCMA CAR-NK Cell Therapy for the Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Multiple MyelomaRefractory

The purpose of this study is to infuse BCMA CAR-NK cells(Umbilical & Cord Blood (CB) Derived CAR-Engineered NK Cells) to the patients with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma (MM), to assess the safety and feasibility of this strategy. The CAR enables the NK cells to recognize and kill the MM cells by targeting of BCMA, a protein expressed of the surface of the malignant plasma cells in MM patients.
