Low Grade Glioma of BrainThis study is about an experimental biomedical monocentric search concerning twelves patients presenting a infiltrative glioma of low rank OMS type II and realizing a surgery awakened on the site of the CHU of Montpellier. The objective of this search is to understand exactly how the electric impulses, delivered by the neurosurgeon to make a functional mapping of the brain during the surgery awakened by tumors infiltrates of low rank, propagate in this one and to identify the nervous networks inhibited by these electric impulses. Having verified the eligibility of the patients and having obtained their consent, they will be included in the study. Before the beginning of the surgery, the electroencephalography activity of the brain of every patient will be recorded. Before and after the surgical resection, the electrocorticography activity will be recorded. The collected data will then be analyzed, after the operation. Analyses will try to identify what we call potential evoked by the stimulation and which are small electric waves which appear after the electric stimulation was delivered.

The investigators propose studies to validate a comprehensive panel of twelve SNPs in ovarian cancer patients that may predict AEs when treated with therapies that include platinum and taxanes. Using these results to stratify patients to different dosing regimens, routes of administration, or in recurrent cancer to aid in drug selection, may improve outcome and reduce costs for the management of drug related side effects while not changing standard of care. Since these differences can be detected from blood, the determination of genotypes can be done using a standard blood sample taken after ovarian cancer is confirmed on the patient's pathology report. These genetic differences can be detected by QPCR and Next Generation Sequencing.

Molecular Disease Profile of Hematological Malignancies
Hematological MalignanciesIn this prospective multicentric study, the University of Pavia together with the Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, Pavia and the IRCCS Fondazione Maugeri, Pavia, Italy will provide a systematic analysis of gene mutations in hematological malignancies by using NGS techniques. Patients with a conclusive diagnosis of haematological malignancies according to WHO criteria referred to the Rete Ematologica Lombarda clinical network (REL, www.rel-lombardia.net) will be enrolled. The investigators will analyse genomic DNA extracted from hematopoietic cells at different time points of patient disease. The study contemplates the use of molecular platforms (Next Generation Sequencing, NGS) aimed at the identification of recurrent mutations in myeloid and lymphoid neoplasms, respectively. Screening of gene mutations by NGS will be prospectively implemented in the context of REL clinical network. Patient samples will be analyzed at diagnosis and sequentially during the course of the disease at specific timepoints. The researchers will analyze the correlations between somatic mutations, specific clinical phenotypes (according to the WHO classification) and disease evolution. This will allow to: 1) identify new recurrent genetic mutations involved in the molecular pathogenesis of hematological malignancies; 2) define the role of mutated genes, distinguishing between genes which induce a clonal proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells, and genes which determine the clinical phenotype of the disease; 3) identify mutations which are responsible for disease evolution; 4) define the diagnostic/prognostic role of the identified mutations, and update the current disease classifications and prognostic scores by including molecular parameters. A systematic biobanking of biological material will be provided.

Children's and Adolescents' Medulloblastoma Molecular Subgroups in China
MedulloblastomaChildhoodRecently, diagnosis and treatments for medulloblastoma becomes more complicated than before since the new World Health Organization (WHO) diagnosis criteria has put molecular marker onto an ever important position. Reports and studies revealed highly correlated connection between subgroups of medulloblastoma and patient outcomes. Children's Oncology Group (COG) has launched many new studies on molecular subgroups-based specific treatment trails. In China, children and adolescents with brain tumor have been treated variously for a long time in lack of standardized comprehensive treatments. Same poor situation in basic research and clinical studies makes the Chinese children with brain tumor hardly catch up with international level in molecular diagnosis and specific treatments. There are limited studies, which were conducted by immunohistochemistry for identifying medulloblastoma molecular subgroups, indicating the similar correlation of the subgroups and outcomes to world-wide reports. As the Children's Neuro-Oncology Group (CNOG) was established in China in May 2017, it makes studies from multiple centers in children's brain tumors become practical. And the availability of DNA methylation array, NanoString and other methods in medulloblastoma subgroup identification assures the quality of the method for this study.

Sleep and Survival in Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal NeoplasmCircadian Rhythm Sleep Disorder3 moreObjective The objective of the current trial is to investigate the effect of perioperative sleep and circadian rhythm on the natural course of survival among patient diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Concurrently, outcome measures like depression, fatigue, quality of life, and co-morbidity will be measured continuously in the short-, intermediate- and long-term period following diagnosis. The a-priori hypothesis is that preoperative sleep and circadian disturbances is a prognostic marker of reduced overall survival. Likewise, preoperative sleep-wake disturbances at baseline are expected to result in overall universally reduced quality of life, increased depression and fatigue. Furthermore, development of sleep-wake disturbances in the postoperative period as compared to preoperative sleep-wake rhythm is expected to a prognostic marker of negative outcomes. Target and study population The study population are all patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer in Region Zealand recruited consecutively from the trial initiation until study end each patient with an intended 5 year follow-up period. All available cases will be included in the trial. Study design The study will be an observational prospective cohort study applying a longituditional repeated measure design. Exposures and outcomes of interest The primary outcomes in the trial are sleep and circadian outcomes measured via actigraphy in the perioperative period. Furthermore, cancer related survival and overall survival in the 5 year follow-up period is considered primary outcomes. Secondary outcomes consist of consecutively measured depression, fatigue, quality of life, follow-up treatment and co-morbidity. Exposure variables are primary related to the cancer, i.e. cancer stage, surgical treatment, oncological treatment, baseline co-morbidity and pharmacological treatment. Some of the secondary outcomes could be expected to serve as confounding or mediating factors. Meaningful control for confounding will in the analysis phase be cancer stage and baseline sleep-wake rhythm status. Sampling methods All available cases will be sought included in the trial. No formal sample size has been performed and continues inclusion into the trial will be performed during an 1,5 year period. Statistical analyses The relationship between overall survival and baseline sleep-wake rhythm will be investigated using survival statistics and/or multivariate logistic regression. Expected results The investigators expect to see a marked difference in overall survival among patients with sleep and circadian disturbances at baseline.
