Genetics of EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor) Mutation Study
EGFR Mutation Positive Non Small Cell Lung CancerThe investigators wish to document the distribution of EGFR somatic mutations, and assess the relationship between specific genotype, clinical demographic, therapy, and survival, in a large cohort of EGFR mutant NSCLC. The investigators also wish to comprehensively investigate the relationship between germline DNA and risk of EGFR mutant NSCLC developing, through a GWAS (Genome-Wide Association Studies) and candidate gene approach, and explore the relationship between germline DNA and clinical outcome, in order to potentially identify germline genetic modifiers of EGFR TKI (Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor) outcome.

Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Liver Metastases Outcomes After Resin 90Y Microsphere Radioembolization...
Colorectal CancerLiver MetastasesInvestigator initiated multi-institutional retrospective review of clinical and radiographic outcomes after 90Y resin microsphere radioembolization for metastatic colorectal liver metastases in the USA. The target is for at least 1,000 evaluable patients with 12+ weeks follow up.

Hyper-CVAD Treatment in Lymphoblastic Lymphoma
Lymphoblastic LymphomaTreatment outcomes of lymphoblastic lymphoma (LBL) have improved by the use of the regimens for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Hyper-CVAD is one of the most effective treatments with high remission rate in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and LBL. However, the treatment outcome of hyper-CVAD in LBL has reported only in small number of patients from single institution. The investigators conducted this study to evaluate the hyper-CVAD regimen based treatment in LBL.

A Registry Study on Shenqifuzheng(a Chinese Medicine Injection)Used in Hospitals in China
Gastric CarcinomaCarcinoma of the LungsThis study was advocated by Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in December 2012. It was funded by China major scientific and technological specialized project for 'significant new formulation of new drugs'. The purpose of this study is to make a cohort event monitoring to see whether and how Shenqifuzheng injection in hospital results in adverse events or adverse drug reactions.

Observational Study of Low Dose FCR in Elderly/Comorbid CLL/SLL: The Q-lite Project
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaFCR (fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, rituximab) combination is currently accepted as the gold standard in treatment of younger and physically fit CLL patients. These excellent results, however, cannot be generally applied to the whole CLL population. This is because the median age at diagnosis of CLL lies between 65 and 72 years and patients older than 65 years in fact account up to 50%-75 % of the CLL population. Nevertheless, such population is considerably underrepresented in most of the large clinical trials in CLL/SLL. Therefore, it is not clear whether elderly/comorbid patients could profit from newer treatment approaches such as purine analog combinations or chemoimmunotherapy. Several publications demonstrated unacceptable toxicity of full-dose FC/FCR in elderly CLL patients. However, regimens using attenuated doses of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide showed promising efficacy and low toxicity.

A Study to Compare Quality of Life and Compliance in Patients Receiving High-dose Interferon Versus...
MelanomaTo evaluate the compliance with and perceptions of treatment, as well as health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in surgically resected melanoma patients undergoing HDI or PEG IFN therapy.

EGCG Modulate the Cytotoxic Effects of Chemotherapeutic Agents in Human Urothelial Carcinoma Cells...
Urothelial CarcinomaUrothelial carcinoma (UC) is the most common cancer of urinary tract. Patients with metastatic UC are usually treated with systemic chemotherapy. There still existed 30% to 50% of advanced UC not responsive to cisplatin-based chemotherapy; the prognosis for patients with metastatic UC remains poor.

Feasibility, Safety and Outcome of Transrectal Hybrid-NOTES Anterior Resection
Sigmoid DiverticulosisSigmoid Diverticulitis2 moreNatural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery has become an important topic. NOTES access routes give the opportunity to reduce surgical access trauma leading to a more painless surgery and enhancing a fast postoperative recovery. Experience with transvaginal laparoscopic cholecystectomy and transvaginal anterior resection for diverticulitis show that such NOTES procedures are feasible and safe. The complication rate to conventional laparoscopic procedures is similar. Since transvaginal access is impossible in men, an alternative route is missing. There are experimental studies and small case series reporting the feasibility of transrectal anterior resection. However any prospective feasibility study demonstrating the safety of the procedure and functional outcomes (sphincter function) are missing. This study investigates the feasibility, practicability, safety and subjective as well as functional outcome of transrectal hybrid-NOTES anterior resection.

Recurrence Risk Factors of Early-Stage Hepatocellular Carcinoma After Radio Frequency Ablation
Hepatocellular CarcinomaThe aim was to investigate the efficacy of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) with a multiple-electrode switching system (MESS) in the treatment of early hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and to evaluate the patterns and risk factors of intrahepatic recurrence of HCC after RFA.
