We plan to conduct a prospective study: to evaluate the accuracy of PET in staging patients with potentially operable non-small cell lung cancer; to evaluate the percentage of futile thoracotomy after PET is introduced in the routine staging modalities for NSCLC patient; to establish a decision tree model based on choices between conventional imaging only and additional PET imaging to analyze their cost-effectiveness.

the aim of this study is to measure brain metabolism in patients with lung cancer.FDG uptake in the brain in patients with malignant tumors will be compared to the amount of tracer activity found in patients who have benign pulmonary process. if differences between the brain uptake of FDG in the two groups will be found, further assessment will be performed in order to evaluate if such differences could be attributed and specifically localized to the brain regions innervated by the vagus

Sarcopenic obesity occurs when there is a loss of muscle and gain of fat in the body. With this study, the investigators will explore how nutritional status at the beginning of the treatment can cause changes in your child's body fat compared to muscle in the body. The investigators will also look at how these changes can impact a child's cancer treatment, survival from treatment, and if there is any deterioration in health and nutrition status. The primary objective of this study is to establish the incidence of sarcopenic obesity, measured by dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA), among Indian children and adolescents with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

The investigators intend to perform a prospective, multicenter study to establish a set of clinical criteria for surgical stages of liver cirrhosis, which can be implemented to guide the surgical treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

This retrospective study was proposed by the investigators to analyze treatment status and outcome in patients with early relapsed follicular lymphoma. In patients with follicular lymphoma who experienced disease progression within 24 months after initiation of treatment, the second-line therapy, stem cell transplantation, tumor response, progression free survival, and overall survival will be analyzed.

The Drug Use Examination (DUE) is planned and designed for the safety evaluation of new indications after the approval of a new drug in Korea. Six-Hundred (600) adult patients, who start with REVLIMID® treatment based on the approved local package insert (PI) of REVLIMID® during routine clinical practice in Korea and have indications noted below. Since methotrexate toxicity represents a major problem in patients treating with cancer and there are few studies about the role of vitamin D in the pathogenesis of this toxicity, so the aim of the present study is investigation of the effect of vitamin D administration on methotrexate toxicity such as oral ulcerations, bone marrow toxicity as well as renal and hepatic toxicity also the role of inflammatory mediators and oxidative stress markers in methotrexate toxicity will be evaluated, taking in consideration the dose of leucovorin rescue.
