Study to Determine the Feasibility of Sentinel Node Biopsy in Patients With Anal Cancer
Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the AnusThe purpose of this study is assess the technical and operational feasibility of a specialised biopsy technique, sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), in patients with anal cancer.

Studying Biomarkers in Samples From Younger Patients With Kidney Cancer
Childhood Kidney NeoplasmClear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma2 moreThis laboratory study is looking into biomarkers in samples from younger patients with kidney cancer. Studying samples of tissue from patients with cancer in the laboratory may help doctors learn more about changes that occur in DNA and identify biomarkers related to cancer. It may also help doctors find better ways to treat cancer.

Endometrial and Myometrial Changes, With and Without Fibroids
Fibroidsfibroids are common among women in fertile age. the relation between fibroids and infertility is controversial. our goal is to claculate a ratio between uterine cavity - endometrium & myometrium in normal uterine s and study the interference of the cavity in uterine s with fibroids.

Long Term Barrett's Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Study
Barretts EsophagusAnalysis of long term outcomes of patients undergoing endoscopic mucosal resection for Barrett's oesophagus with high grade dysplasia and/or early intramucosal carcinoma (IMC).

Thermal Signature of Patients Undergoing Radiation Therapy
Lung CancerThe goal of this clinical research study is to evaluate whether thermal imaging (recording body temperature) can be used to check the body's response to cancer therapy. Primary Objective: The primary objective of this study is to establish techniques and methodologies of quantifying thermal signatures and their changes for cancer patients undergoing chemoradiation therapy. Secondary Objective: The secondary objective is to evaluate correspondence between changes of thermal signature of a normal organ, e.g. lung or esophagus, versus the toxicity of that organ from chemoradiation therapy.

Clonal Evolution of B Cells in High-risk CLL After Idelalisib-rituximab
Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaThe purpose of the study is to assess the evolution of B cells at a genetic and surface-marker level in high-risk CLL after idelalisib-rituximab treatment. The targeted population includes 20 subjects ages 18 or older diagnosed with high-risk CLL. This will include patients with relapsed or refractory disease who require therapy with idelalisib and rituximab as per FDA label. This is an observational study for peripheral blood samples of these patients collected at pre-determined time points.

School Response to Families Who Have Children With Cancer
CarcinomasSquamous Cell Carcinoma1 moreThe purpose of this research is to investigate school response to families who have children with cancer. It is anticipated that the results of this study will enhance the support that schools can give to the population of families who have a child with cancer. The study will involve the parents in these families, the principal and an educator in the school of the child with cancer. Measurement tools will include surveys, interviews, and other relevant educational and medical documents.

MRI for Tumor During Chemoradiation for Anal Canal and Perianal Cancer
Anal Cancer PatientsPerianal PatientsThe purpose of this study is to establish a prospective database of anal canal and perianal cancer patients treated with IMRT and chemotherapy with curative intent at PMH for the purposes of investigating MRI-derived primary tumor parameters. Patients who decide to participate in this study will be treated according to standard treatment policies and radiation therapy planning protocols at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) with radiation therapy +/- chemotherapy. IMRT for all treatment phases of radiotherapy has been implemented as standard treatment. Surgery is reserved for salvage treatment.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Using Liverspecific Oral Contrast Agent in Metastatic Colorectal...
Neoplasm MetastasisLiver3 moreThe purpose of this study is to determine whether MRI with manganese containing contrast agent detects more livermetastasis compared to CT scan

Study of 18F-FEC for Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography (PET-CT) Imaging of GBM
AstrocytomaGrade IV2 morePositron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography (PET-CT) with injection of 18F-fluoroethylcholine (FEC) could be a useful tool in the evaluation and follow-up of patients who have been diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and who are treated with radiotherapy and temozolomide by allowing, for example, the distinction of necrosis from tumour tissue. This tool could help the clinician in making therapeutic decisions for GBM patients.
