Evaluation of IRDye800CW-nimotuzumab in Lung Cancer Surgery
Lung CancerThe purpose of this study is to determine the safety, optimal dose and imaging time of the investigational product, IRDye800CW-nimotuzumab for use as a near infrared imaging probe for image-guided surgery during lung cancer resection. IRDye800CW-nimotuzumab targets cancer cells over-expressing EGFR, allowing tumors to be visualized and may help surgeons better identify cancer during surgery.

Brain TumorNeurofibromatoses4 moreIn this study, the main goal is to implement and evaluate a novel, evidence-based psycho-educative program for children in oncological care. Patients are provided with booklets tailored to each specific stage of their treatment. Among other factors, children's emotional well-being is evaluated as well as feasibility. The study is carried out at multiple sites across Austria, Germany and Italy/South Tirol.

GlioblastomaThe purpose of this study is to assess progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) in newly diagnosed Glioblastoma (GBM) participants treated with IGV-001 as compared with placebo.

Pivotal, Randomized, Open-label Study of Optune® (Tumor Treating Fields) Concomitant With RT & TMZ...
Glioblastoma MultiformeTo test the effectiveness and safety of Optune® given concomitantly with radiation therapy (RT) and temozolomide (TMZ) in newly diagnosed GBM patients, compared to radiation therapy and temozolomide alone. In both arms, Optune® and maintenance temozolomide are continued following radiation therapy.

Radioimmunotherapy (211At-OKT10-B10) and Chemotherapy (Melphalan) Before Stem Cell Transplantation...
Plasma Cell MyelomaThis phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of 211At-OKT10-B10 when given together with melphalan before a stem cell transplantation in treating patients with multiple myeloma. The radioimmunotherapy drug 211At-OKT10-B10 is a monoclonal antibody, called OKT10-B10, linked to a radioactive substance called 211At. OKT10-B10 attaches to CD38 positive cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers 211At to kill them. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as melphalan, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving 211At-OKT10-B10 with melphalan before a stem cell transplant may kill more cancer cells.

Cancer and Blood Pressure Management, CARISMA Study
Cardiovascular DisorderChronic Kidney Disease7 moreThis phase II trial studies how well intensive blood pressure management works in decreasing systolic blood pressure in patients with kidney or thyroid cancer that has spread to other places in the body (metastatic) who are starting anti-angiogenic tyrosine kinase inhibitor cancer therapy. This study is being done to find out if a systolic blood pressure to a target of less than 120 mmHg (intensive systolic blood pressure management) can be achieved, well tolerated, and beneficial as compared to the usual approach to a target of less than 140 mmHg while taking an anti-angiogenic tyrosine kinase inhibitor. This study may help doctors understand the best way to control blood pressure in kidney or thyroid cancer patients taking anti-angiogenic tyrosine kinase inhibitor.

GlioblastomaRecurrent Glioblastoma1 moreThe participants are being treated with Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) for malignant glioma, and this type of treatment may cause skin-related side effects. This study will test whether using clindamycin and triamcinolone topical lotions can prevent skin-related side effects of TTFields.

Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Followed by Polatuzumab Vedotin in Patients With B-cell Non-Hodgkin...
B-cell LymphomaBurkitt Lymphoma7 morePatients will receive one of two conditioning regimens (BEAM or CBV) before receiving an autologous stem cell transplant (ASCT). If patients achieve either complete, partial, or stable response following ASCT, they will receive an IV dose of Polatuzumab Vedotin once every 21 days until they receive 8 doses. After Polatuzumab Vedotin therapy is completed, patients will be followed every 4 months for about 2 years.
