This is a multicenter, open-label, non-randomized, single arm, 2 parts, phase II clinical trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab and lenvatinib plus standard of care chemotherapy (with carboplatin and etoposide ) in subjects with histologically confirmed extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer who have not previously received systemic therapy for this malignancy.

The COVID-induced fibrotic lung damage continues long after viral infection has subsided and is exhibited by severe respiratory pathology and concomitant symptoms. The long-lasting sequelae in patients who have recovered from severe COVID indicate that there is a 30% chance of developing a persistent respiratory system pathology and a 10% chance of developing a severe pathology. The symptoms of lung fibrosis include a severe disruption of respiration, reduction of exercise tolerance, and concomitant development of persistent fibrotic lung damage. This study intends to evaluate benefits of a combination of WJPure and EVPure in Covid-19 patients exhibiting pulmonary fibrosis.

This is a phase 1b/2 study of a single dose of intravenous (IV) bacteriophage in males and non-pregnant females, at least 18 years old, diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). This clinical trial is designed to assess the safety and microbiological activity of bacteriophage product WRAIR-PAM-CF1, directed at Pseudomonas aeruginosa in clinically stable CF individuals chronically colonized with P. aeruginosa. WRAIR-PAM-CF1 is a 4 component anti-pseudomonal bacteriophage mixture containing between 4 x 10^7 and 4 x 10^9 Plaque Forming Units (PFU) of bacteriophage. Enrollment will occur at up to 20 clinical sites in the United States. In stage 1, two eligible subjects will be assigned to each of the three dosing arms receiving a single dosage of the IV bacteriophage therapy (4 x 10^7 PFU, 4 x 10^8 PFU, and 4 x 10^9 PFU; total of 6 sentinel subjects), followed by 30 ± 7 days observation period. If no SAEs (related to the study product) are identified during the 96 hours after bacteriophage administration for all Sentinel Subjects in Stage 1, the study will proceed to Stage 2. In Stage 2a, 32 subjects will be enrolled into one of 4 arms (placebo IV, 4 x 10^7 PFU, 4 x 10^8 PFU, and 4 x 10^9 PFU) in a 1:1:1:1 allocation. An interim analysis will be performed after all subjects have completed follow up visit 7 on Day 30 to select the IV bacteriophage dose with the most favorable safety and microbiological activity profile. During Stage 2b, subjects will be randomized into the bacteriophage (dose selected based on Interim Analysis following Stage 2a) or placebo arm. The final sample size is expected to be up to 72 subjects total with up to 25 subjects in the placebo arm and up to 25 subjects in the Stage 2b bacteriophage dose.

Bioavailability, Bioequivalence and Tolerability of IHL-42X Compared to the Reference Drugs

The goal of this randomised four-period cross-over Phase I study is to assess bioavailability, bioequivalence and tolerability of IHL-42X compared to the reference drugs in healthy volunteers. Volunteers will be enrolled and randomised to one of four treatment groups. Each group is to receive all four treatments in a twenty eight day cross-over study, with each treatment period running for seven days. The four treatment groups are described below; A = dronabinol 5 mg, fasted; B = acetazolamide 250 mg, fasted; C = IHL-42X (5 mg dronabinol, 250 mg acetazolamide), fasted; D = IHL-42X (5 mg dronabinol, 250 mg acetazolamide), fed. Each treatment group will enrol at least 29 participants each, for a total of at least 116 participants. Bioavailability and bioequivalence will assess and compare all four of the seven day treatments.

Low Volume High Intensity Interval Training in Operated Lung Cancer Patients

Patients included in the study will be randomly divided into 2 groups using appropriate randomization programs. All patients will be given exercise training individually for 24 sessions using a bicycle ergometer under the supervision of a physiotherapist.Patients in the first group will be given exercise training on a bicycle ergometer for 5 minutes warm-up phase at 40% of maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max), 20 minutes exercise phase at 60% of VO2max and 5 minutes cool down phase at 40% of VO2max for a total of 30 minutes. Patients in the second group will be given a warm-up phase for 3 minutes at 50% VO2max, 1 minute at 80-100% VO2max and 1 minute at 50% VO2max in 10 cycles, and finally a cool-down phase for 3 minutes at 50% VO2max. In total, 25 minutes of low-volume high-intensity intermittent exercise training will be given on a bicycle ergometer.

The purpose of this study is to find out whether lattice radiation therapy (LRT) is an effective radiation therapy technique when compared to standard stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). The study will also study how the different radiation therapy techniques (LRT and SBRT) affect how many immune cells are able to attack and kill tumor cells (immune infiltration).

Although non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), c-ros oncogene 1(ROS1), and ret proto-oncogene (RET) gene fusions initially respond well to tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapies, acquired resistance is inevitable. In many of these cases, increased activation of the erythroblastic leukemia viral oncogene homologue (ERBB) or cMet pathways appears to be a bypass signaling mechanism that allows these cancer cells to circumvent the selective pressure from TKIs. Recent data have suggested that these pathways compensate for each other in situations where one pathway is inhibited, leading to "kinase switch" drug resistance. Thus, the expected inhibition of both pathways via treatment with the amivantamab and combination TKI combination may improve overall efficacy by limiting the compensatory pathway activation.
