Assocation Between In-person Instruction and COVID-19 Risk

InfectionInfection Control

Whether university teaching on campus with infection control measures in place is associated with higher risk of COVID-19 than online instruction, is unknown. The investigators will assess this by conducting repeated surveys among students at universities and university colleges in Norway, where some instruction is given in-person, and some is provided online (hybrid model). The investigators will ask about the students' COVID-19 status, and how much in-person and online instruction the students are getting. The investigators will estimate the association between in-person instruction and COVID-19-risk using multivariate regression, controlling for likely confounders. The investigators will also assess whether type of instruction is associated with how satisfied the students are with the instruction the students are offered, their quality of life, and learning outcomes.

Special Chinese Medicine Out-patient Programme for Discharged COVID-19 Patients

Post COVID-19

According to the ongoing observational studies and the Chinese Medicine practice guideline for COVID-19 patients, the discharged patients with COVID-19 still exhibits certain clinical symptoms such as fatigue, poor appetite, short of breath, palpation, and poor sleep, which could be recognized as two main Patterns in Chinese Medicine, Qi Deficiency of Lung and Spleen and Qi & Yin Deficiency. Based on this, pulmonary rehabilitation to improve lung function upon discharged was proposed. Therefore, even patients with COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals, there are symptoms with significant clinical syndromes in Chinese Medicine perspectives. These symptoms, in terms of syndrome, which could link with the body constitutions, could be due to pre-COVID-19 infection, suffering from infection, or a consequence of post-infection. This observational study is a rehabilitation programme to elucidate i) whether body constitution is linking with the infection of COVID-19; ii) whether TCM can help the recovery of discharged COVID-19 patients.

Derivation and Validation of a Scoring System to Distinguish Cryptococcosis and Adenocarcinoma in...

CryptococcosisLung Adenocarcinoma

Pulmonary cryptococcosis often manifests as isolated or multiple nodules, easily mimicking lung cancer clinically and radiologically, which ascribes the poor sensitivity of Cryptococcus culture and rarely positive of Cryptococcal antigen test in the absence of disseminated disease. Therefore, the aim of this study was to develop a predictive scoring system from the perspective of available clinical indicators, to differentiate cryptococcosis from adenocarcinoma in pulmonary nodules, which might be beneficial for the delicacy management of pulmonary nodules.
