Acute Encephalopathy in Critically Ill Patients With COVID-19
COVID-19Encephalopathy1 moreInfection with SARS-CoV-2 or severe acute respiratory syndrome coronarvirus type 2 was highlighted in December 2019 in the city of Wuhan in China, responsible for an pandemic evolution since March 11, 2020. The infection affects all ages of life, although affecting children in a very small proportion of cases. The typical presentation of the disease combines fever (98%), cough (76%), myalgia and asthenia (18%) as well as leukopenia (25%) and lymphopenia (63%). Upper airway involvement rare. The main clinical presentation requiring hospitalization of infected patients is that of atypical pneumonia which may require critical care management (27%), and progress to an acute respiratory distress syndrome (67%) involving life-threatening conditions in almost 25% of patients diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection. Other organ damage have been reported, mainly concerning kidney damage (29%) which may require renal replacement therapy in approximately 17% of patients. Neurological damage has been very rarely studied, yet reported in 36% of cases in a study including patients of varying severity. Finally, the mortality associated with this emerging virus is high in patients for whom critical care management is necessary, reported in 62% of patients. We therefore propose a prospective observational study which aim at reporting the prevalence of acute encephalopathy at initial management in Critical/Intensive care or Neurocritical care , to report its morbidity and mortality and to identify prognostic factors.

Bacteriological Study of Acute Follicular Tonsillitis
Acute Follicular TonsillitisThe objective of the study is to answer the following questions :- Is there an actual failure rate in tonsillitis treatment with amoxicillin clavulanate ? If yes, What is (are) the possible reason(s) to explain it in our locality ?

The Use of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitors and Incident Respiratory Infections, Are They...
Covid-19Coronavirus7 moreThe study use UK based linked electronic health records from the Clinical Research Datalink (CALIBER) of 5.6 million individuals to conduct a matched case-control study to investigate the incidence of influenza in individuals prescribed ACEI compared to those not prescribed ACEI.

The Use of Focused Lung Ultrasound in Patients Suspected of COVID-19
COVID-19COVID is a major health problem causing massive capacity problems at hospitals. Rapid and accurate diagnostic workflow is of paramount importance. Access to radiological diagnostics tools such as x-ray or computed tomography of the chest are limited even in high-resource settings. Focused lung ultrasound, FLUS, is a point-of-care diagnostic tool that allows rapid and on-site assessment of lung abnormalities. No transportation of the patient is required thus lowering risk of spreading SAR-CoV- inside the hospital. This study aims to explore the diagnostic value of FLUS in the COVID-19 pandemic and to explore if FLUS findings can predict risk of respiratory failure.

Clinical Evaluation of Cordio Application in Adult COVID-19 Virus Positive Patients
Coronavirus InfectionStudy on adult patients positive to COVID-19 virus. After signing informed consent and undergoing screening assessments, eligible patients will record few times a day several pre-defined sentences to the Cordio App installed in a smartphone/tablet. The app will upload the vocal data to the sponsor's servers for analysis. The patient will record at hospital admittance (COVID-19 positive) until patient defined as COVID-19 negative and free of relevant clinical symptoms.

Development of Risk Score Model and Decision Tree Algorithm for Predicting Infections With CRKp...
Bloodstream InfectionPneumonia6 moreDETERMINE trial is a prospective multicenter multinational cohort study. This study will be carried out to predict the risk of bloodstream infections (BSIs) or other types of invasive infection with carbapenem resistant K.pneumoniae in patients being colonized by CRKp. The results of DETERMINE trial would be quite important to prevent unnecessary coverage of carbapenem resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae in empirical treatment of colonized patients. In this study, both risk score model and decision tree algorithm will be constructed and compared with each other in terms of sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value.

Prevalence of Respiratory Impairment During IBD
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary DiseaseAsthma2 morePatients will be recruited during a routine consultation with a physician in the hepato-gastroenterology department. At the end of the consultation, patients will have to complete the following questionnaire: "European Community Respiratory Health Survey" which allows the screening of patients at risk of chronic respiratory diseases (asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, emphysema). In the event of a declaration of functional respiratory signs, a consultation with a pulmonologist will be systematically proposed. At the end of this consultation, if the doctor deems it necessary, further investigations will be proposed and/or regular follow-up organised. The main objective of this study is to estimate the prevalence of respiratory symptoms leading to a diagnosis of chronic respiratory disease in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) (Crohn's disease and UC). The main criterion for judgement will be the frequency of functional respiratory signs (wheezing, dyspnea, cough, sputum) reported by IBD patients through an adapted self-report questionnaire.

Observation Study With Implantable Medication Pump for Intravenous Treprostinil Therapy in Patients...
Pulmonary Arterial HypertensionPAHThe study is designed as a non-interventional, multicenter, prospective single-arm study to observe the therapy with REMODULIN (Treprostinil) applicated by an implantable pump in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

The COVID-19 Mobile Health Study (CMHS)
COVID-19This study evaluates a brand-new cell phone-based auto-diagnosis system, which is based on the clinical guidelines, clinical experience, and statistic training model. We will achieve secure and 1st hand data from physicians in Wuhan, which including 150 cases in the training cohort and 300 cases in the validation cohort.

Evaluation ctDNA in Patients of Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer Following Resection
Non-Small Cell Lung CancerCirculating tumor DNA (ctDNA) is a promising biomarker for noninvasive assessment of cancer burden. In this study, PEAC (Personalized Analysis of Cancer) technology was performed to detect the driver gene mutations from plasma samples and matched tumor tissue samples were detected by NGS platform at baseline. Investigators also applied ctDNA dynamic monitoring using PEAC technology in early stage NSCLC patients with driver mutations positive at baseline, to evaluate the feasibility and their potential clinical application.
