About this trial

This is an interventional prevention trial for Mechanical Ventilation focused on measuring Pneumonia, Ventilator Associated Pneumonia, Prevention

Eligibility Criteria

18 Years - undefined (Adult, Older Adult)All SexesDoes not accept healthy volunteers

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Consecutive patients foreseen to receive mechanical ventilation for more than 72 hours

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Previous mechanical ventilation in the last month
  • Mechanical ventilation for more than 6 hours before arrival at ICU,
  • Contraindication to bronchoscopy and
  • Be expected to die or undergo withdrawal treatment within 48 hours-
