About this trial
This is an interventional supportive care trial for Pediatric Crohn's Disease focused on measuring Pediatric inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, Ulcerative colitis, Web-based teaching and support, disease self-management, peer support
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
- Pediatric IBD patients (approximately 100 patients randomly assigned to the Mission is Remission® group or the wait-list control group) and one of their parents/primary caregivers;
- Patient is between 12-18 years of age, inclusive;
- Meets screening criteria for low self-efficacy;
- Signed informed consent from parent and assent from patient.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Not English speaking;
- Children with cognitive impairment.

Mission is Remission® Group
Control Group
Participants in this group will be given access to the Mission is Remission® web-based teaching and support site. They will also be emailed a link to complete online questionnaires at set time points throughout the study.
Participants in this group will continue to receive standard care without access to the Mission is Remission® website. They will also be emailed a link to complete online questionnaires. At the end of the 6 month study period, participants in this group will be given access to the study website.
