The Effectiveness of a CA-CBI on Psychological Distress of University Students During the COVID-19...
Psychological DistressWell-beingThe effectiveness study for Culturally Adapted Cognitive Behavioral Intervention will be conducted with university students to measure if this intervention if effective for decreasing the university students' psychological distress and increase their well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. Potential participants will be given an informed consent and included in a screening procedure to decide their eligibility. 100 participants (50 in experimental and 50 in control group-randomly assigned) who pass the screening procedure will be invited to the effectiveness study. The experimental group will receive an 8-session intervention while the control group will receive information about the freely available psychological support options. The measurements will be conducted three times; one week before, one week after and five weeks after the intervention.

Assess the Safety and Immunogenicity of NDV-HXP-S Vaccine in Thailand
Covid-19SARS Pneumonia3 moreThis study will be conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 designed to evaluate safety, tolerability and immunogenicity COVID-19 vaccine (NDV-HXP-S) administered at different doses levels (1, 3, and 10 µg) without adjuvant, and at two different dose levels (1 and 3 µg) with the adjuvant CpG 1018 among healthy adults, (age 18-59 years) (210 subjects). Subjects will receive 2 doses of assigned investigational product (IP) on D1 and D29 (V1 and V3), and be assessed in clinic for safety and reactogenicity at 7 days after each vaccination (day 1 as day vaccination). An interim analysis of Phase 1 data will be conducted as the basis for decisions about advancement to Phase 2 of the study and about treatment group down selection. Phase 2 (250 subjects) will include approximately one-third subjects with age 60-75 years.

Study on Heterologous Prime-boost of Recombinant COVID-19 Vaccine (Ad5 Vector) and RBD-based Protein...
COVID-19This is a randomized, observer-blind, placebo-controlled study, for evaluation of safety and immunogenicity of heterologous prime-boost immunization of recombinant COVID-19 vaccine (adenovirus type-5 vector) and RBD-based protein subunit vaccine (ZF2001) against COVID-19 in Chinese healthy population. 120 healthy subjects aged over 18 years of age who have been vaccinated with recombinant adenovirus type-5 vectored vaccine will be recruited in this study. Of them, 60 subjects will be enrolled in the "0-28 days" regimen and other 60 will be enrolled in "0-56 days" regimen. Subjects, 30 of them are 18-59 years old and 30 are 60 years old and above in each regimen will be randomly vaccinated with the second dose of subunit vaccine(ZF2001) against COVID-19 or a commercial influenza vaccine in a ratio of 2:1. They will then be vaccinated with the third dose of ZF2001 on month 4 after the second dose. The occurrence of adverse events within 28 days and serious adverse events within 6 months after the last vaccination will be observed. In addition, blood samples will be collected on day 0 before the second vaccination, day 14, 28 after the second vaccination and day 14, month 6 after third vaccination to test serum antibody levels and to profile the immune cells' subgroups and germlines. Each subject will remain in this study for approximately 12 months.

The Effect of Aerobic Exercise on Immune Biomarkers and Symptoms Severity and Progression in Patients...
Covid19Participants were assigned randomly into two groups, exercise and control groups. All participants in both groups followed the WHO guidelines of quarantine and used standardized medications given by the physician according to the Turkish Ministry of Health guidelines, including the Hydroxyclorocin Sulphate 200 Mg Film Tablet (Plaquenil 200 Mg Film Tablet). The dose was 2 times/ day, 200Mg/time, for 5 days. Besides, the exercise group performed moderate-intensity aerobic exercises for 40 min/ 3 sessions/week, 40 minute/session.

APT™ T3X on the COVID-19 Contamination Rate
COVID-19The new coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), due to the alarming levels of spread, severity and inaction. Dealing with COVID-19 must be done on different fronts, such as mitigation, treatment and prevention. Therefore, strategies and therapies that can help reduce the COVID-19 rate of contamination are still important alternatives at this time of the pandemic. The Advanced Penetration Technology™ (APT™) is intellectual property owned by Patient Focused Tele-Health, LLC, a Rockwall, Texas based company. The company's focus is improving over-the-counter (OTC) topical formulations, allowing consumers better therapeutic outcomes with non-prescription medications. The Advanced Penetration Technology™ (APT™) is a patent-pending, proprietary transdermal dual carrier formulation. This formulation provides improved dermal penetration and efficacy of topical API's. Additionally, the APT™ imparts both a mechanical and biochemical effect on the microbe/fungal cell walls providing a highly effective method of destruction of microbes. These unique properties impart the broad spectrum anti-viral capability to the APT™ Tetracycline 3% formulation, breaking barriers in pharmacology and virology. The topical formulation APT™ Tetracycline 3% formulation (APT ™ T3X), is a FDA registered, Non-Prescription product. This formulation is used in an off label manner as an intranasal application for prevention of COVID-19 and other viruses. The APT™ T3X as a topical application will penetrate through and into the mucus layer and deeper. This barrier of coverage will provide a mitigation effect to decrease the viral load of exposure and infection. The efficacy of APT™ T3X is due to disrupting the lipid envelope in seconds, hence neutralizing the virus. Previous tests were performed with APT™ T3X and the results found were promising. However, these tests were performed only in vitro and clinical studies demonstrating the ability of the APT™ T3X to decrease viral exposure and contamination by COVID-19 are necessary to confirm the possible prophylactic effect, allowing the formulation to be widely distributed to the general population. Therefore, the aim of this project is to evaluate the efficacy of the APT™ T3X compared to placebo to decrease COVID-19 contamination rate in humans.

A Study of TAK-919 in Healthy Japanese Adults (COVID-19)
Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)TAK-919 is a vaccine in development to protect people against Covid-19. The main aims of the study are to learn if TAK-919 can protect people from Covid-19 and to check for side effects from TAK-919. At the first visit, the study doctor will check if each person can take part. Those who can take part will be chosen for 1 of 2 treatments by chance. Participants will either receive an injection of TAK-919 or a placebo in their arm. In this study, a placebo will look like the TAK-919 vaccine but will not have any medicine in it. 3 times as many participants will receive TAK-919 than placebo. Participants will receive 2 injections of TAK-919 or placebo, 28 days apart. Participants will be asked to record their temperature and any medical problems in an electronic diary for up to 7 days after each injection. During the study, participants will visit the clinic for regular check-ups, blood tests, and sometimes for nose swab samples. When all participants have visited their clinic 28 days after their 2nd injection, the study sponsor (Takeda) will check how many participants have made enough antibodies to protect them against Covid-19. The participants will stay in the study for up to 12 months after they have had their 2nd injection. During this time, the study doctors will continue to check how many participants have made enough antibodies to protect them against Covid-19. Also, they will check if participants have any more side effects from TAK-919 or the placebo.
