The acute pneumonia pandemic caused by a new strain of corona virus 2019, namely as COVID-19 by the World Health Organization (WHO), is a pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. The reported symptoms vary from fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, to muscle aches, headaches, loss of taste or smell. The capsule KOVIR is a product based on the traditional medicine named "Ren shen bai du san" which is used to treat the cold conditions, also known as the initial plague according to the theory of traditional medicine.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)-like coronavirus 2 (Sars-CoV-2) pandemia is considered to be the current major global health issue. With no specific treatment or vaccine known to be licensed, empowering the immune system to overcome the inflammatory status associated with the late stages of the disease, particularly by anti-inflammatory nutrients, is of great concern. Effective in reducing both the morbidity and mortality of respiratory infections, including measles, vitamin A and its derivatives are reported to enhance the immune system and/or antibody response to virus vaccinations in children, particularly those with vitamin insufficiency. Retinoids are, therefore, proposed as an adjunct therapy in the treatment of COVID-19. The study is aimed to investigate the effects of vitamin A supplementation on disease improvement in pediatric and adolescent patients with either moderate or severe COVID-19 disease.

The investigators aim to study whether education, in the form of three two-minute educational videos about COVID-19 vaccine development and dissemination, reduces vaccine hesitancy and increases intent to vaccinate. The investigators intend to use insights from this research study to develop a framework for video-based 'education prescriptions' that reduce vaccine hesitancy and increase intent to vaccinate across a number of infectious diseases. This may have wide-ranging impact: inform practice for health promotions and public health, as well as support infectious disease related work done by healthcare professionals (e.g. those working in travel medicine, where vaccination rates are also low).

Meditation is a self-management strategy that can be utilized by anyone to assist with the management of stress. Meditation mobile applications, such as the "Calm" app, can be used to help manage stress, especially during this uncertain time. The investigators propose a prospective evaluation of perceived stress, anxiety, burnout and sleep disturbance in the house staff at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, with the use of the mobile meditation app, "Calm." The investigatros additionally want to evaluate the feasibility of using the mobile app, including looking at adherence to use of the app and physician satisfaction with use of the app.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is affecting the way many people live their lives, including seeking medical care and maintaining good self-care to keep healthy. Additionally, in the event many people become critically ill at once, COVID-19 has the possibility of overwhelming hospitals to the point where they have to make decisions about how to determine who receives intensive care and life-support measures. Many hospitals as well as local or state governments have been working on policies to determine how to make these decisions. This study seeks to learn about how COVID-19 has affected the way patients and healthcare providers care for themselves and about their thoughts and concerns about policies that may "ration" life-support resources.

Moderate to severe cases of SARS-associated ARDS based on inclusion/ exclusion criteria and the decision made in multi- disciplinary team are treated with 0.5 Gy whole lung radiation.

For the follow-up of selected patients, telephone consultations may be efficient and cost-effective. The aim of the study is to assess the efficiency and the satisfaction with telephone consultation for the pharmacist and the TB patient. The study was conducted in tertiary care hospital TB control centres patients.

This study was designed as a randomized controlled, pre-test-post-test control group in order to determine the effect of laughter therapy on anxiety, life satisfaction and psychological well-being of nursing students. Laughter therapy was applied to the experimental group for at least 60 minutes, 10 sessions two days a week. For the evaluation, the state-continuity anxiety scale, life satisfaction scale, psychological well-being scale were applied at the pre-application stage (pre-test) and after the laughter therapy sessions (post-test). The following hypotheses were included in this study; H1: Laughter therapy given during the Covid19 pandemic reduces the anxiety level of intern students. H2: Laughter therapy given during the Covid19 pandemic affects the life satisfaction of intern students. H3: During the Covid19 pandemic process, the laughter therapy given to interns affects the relationship between anxiety levels and life satisfaction. H4: Laughter therapy given to intern students during the Covid19 pandemic process affects psychological well-being.

The objective of this trial is to evaluate the effect of the consumption of a probiotic strain on the incidence and severity of COVID-19 in elderly population living in a nursing home. In addition, it will be evaluated if the probiotic strain have some effect on the immune response generated by the Covid-19 vaccine inthis population.
