This non-interventional retrospective study aims to describe the therapeutic procedures and modalities received by patients and the correlation to hormone status, during a one year follow up from completion of the 2-79-52030-207 study.

The purpose of this pilot study is to test SAGIT (Signs and symptoms - Associated comorbidities - GH concentration level - IGF-1 - Tumour). SAGIT is a Clinician-Reported Outcomes (ClinROs) tool developed to describe patients with acromegaly. This study will determine the potential use of a finalised operational version for patient classification in clinical practice and studies. In addition, this study intends to carry out a qualitative evaluation of the acceptability of SAGIT by the practicing endocrinologist in terms of relevance, ease of use, applicability and usefulness of the tool in practice.

OBJECTIVES: I. Determine whether release of endogenous growth hormone (GH)-releasing hormone is involved in GH responses to clonidine, pyridostigmine, levodopa, arginine, GH-releasing peptide, insulin-induced hypoglycemia, and exercise in patients with acromegaly. II. Determine whether endogenous GH-releasing hormone influences the maintenance of GH hypersecretion.

This study investigates fat distribution in people with acromegaly. The investigator is also investigating the change of fat distribution before and after treatment of acromegaly. The investigator will compare the results of people with acromegaly to the results of healthy volunteers.

The purpose of the study is to assess the experiences of individuals with acromegaly who are receiving injections as part of their treatment regimen. Another objective of the study is to compare the patients' perception with their doctors' perceptions. The answers are important to help researchers and physicians understand what it is really like to take currently available treatments so that they can make efforts to improve patients' healthcare experiences, reduce treatment burden and, ultimately, improve patient's quality of life.

Prospective study of reproducibility and utility of growth hormone inhibition by oral glucose tolerance test for the diagnosis of acromegaly, in acromegalic and non-acromegalic subjects, with a randomized double-blind crossover over placebo arm in the group of acromegalic patients

The purpose of the protocol is to evaluate and describe QoL, in the population of Polish acromegalic patients treated with Lanreotide Autogel® 120 mg during the 24 months (long term observation).

Hypothesis: Fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy is a safe therapy for treatment of patients with acromegaly in terms of both tumour control and biochemical remission

The objective of this study is to evaluate, in acromegalic patients with disease persistence after surgery who are treated with somatostatin analogues, the histopathological, clinical, morphological and biochemical factors which are predictive of hormonal control.
