Variation Between Hospitals in Short-term Mortality After Acute Coronary Syndromes: A CALIBER Study...
Acute Coronary SyndromeWe seek to investigate whether hospitals in England and Wales vary in their rate of mortality following admission for heart attack or unstable angina, the extent of such variation, whether discharge diagnosis affects the extent of variation, and whether such variation has changed over time. Furthermore, we will investigate what individual- or hospital-level factors explain variation in mortality between hospitals.
THIRD NATIONAL REGISTRY OF ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROMES
Acute Coronary SyndromesThe Registry pretends to identify stratification, diagnosis and treatment approaches in patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) in community hospitals with tertiary hospitals to optimize resources and identify strategies to improve health care quality through the creation of clinical guidelines that serve for unify management and treatment methods with adherence to international guidelines which include suggestions for treatment and medication.

Acute Coronary SyndromeThis NIS is a multi-centre, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study including all consecutive patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and a single-arm, prospective, longitudinal cohort study which will include patients hospitalized for ACS and who are with ticagrelor on discharge from hospital.

Acute Coronary SyndromeMyocardial InfarctionObservatory multicenter, prospective, to support the acute phase of acute coronary syndromes with ST segment elevation ST (myocardial infarction).
Usefulness of High-frequency QRS Analysis in the Evaluation of Patients With Chest Pain
Acute Coronary SyndromeSTEMI3 moreAccurate detection of a heart attack (an acute myocardial infarction) is one of the most pressing needs in medicine. Recordings of the electrocardiogram (ECG) (electrical activity of the heart) are one of the first tools used to diagnose a heart attack, but the ECG is not very accurate, especially at the beginning of a heart attack. A new technique for analysing a special part of the ECG may provide more accurate detection of a heart attack. The study hypothesis is that this new technique, the HFQRS analysis, will provide important additional information to that available from the regular ECG.
Database of Patients Undergoing Cardiac Computed Tomographic Angiography at William Beaumont Hospital...
Acute Coronary SyndromeChest PainThe purpose of the study is to establish an overarching database of information containing historical, demographical, clinical, and intermediate and long-term outcome data from all William Beaumont Hospital (WBH) patients undergoing Cardiac Computed Tomographic Angiography (CCTA) testing for clinical or scientific reasons.
Myeloid-Related Protein in Evaluation of Acute Chest Pain in the Emergency Departement
Myocardial IschemiaAcute Coronary Syndrome3 moreThe purpose of the study is the evaluation of multiple biomarkers related to acute coronary syndromes, including myeloid-related protein 8/14 (MRP 8/14), along with established clinical markers, for early diagnosis and risk stratification in patients presenting with acute chest pain at the emergency department. Study hypothesis: MRP 8/14, alone or together with other established or new biomarkers, increases the earliness, sensitivity, and specificity of diagnosing acute coronary syndromes.
Diagnostic Accuracy of Multislice CT Angiography for Acute Chest Pain
Chest PainAcute Coronary Syndrome2 moreThe ACUTE CT trial is designed to test whether the assessment of chest structures by high-resolution multislice computed tomography (CT) provides equivalent diagnostic accuracy for patient with acute chest pain or other potential cardiac symptoms as compared to a standard of care evaluation.
Xience Registry In Complex Lesion of Acute Coronary Syndrome Patients witH Ticagrelor (RICH)
Coronary Artery DiseasePercutaneous Coronary Intervention1 moreThe goal of this multicenter prospective clinical cohort study is to investigate the impact of early use of low-dose Ticagrelor-based dual antiplatelet agent therapy (TDAPT) (ticagrelor 120mg daily; l-TDAPT) as compared to standard-dose TDAPT (ticagrelor 180mg daily; s-TDAPT) in outcomes of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The main question it aims to answer are: Given the low ischemic risk and high bleeding tendency in Asians, the low dose TDAPT may provide better net clinical benefits of ischemic and bleeding events than the standard dose TDAPT.
Lipid Profile in Acute Coronary Syndrome
Acute Coronary SyndromeThis study aims to assess the TG/Hdl-c ratio in patients with acute coronary syndrome as a novel marker of atherosclerosis.
