inflAmmatory maRkers in Blood and Thrombus Aspirated From Patients With acutE myocaRdial Infarction...
Patients Admitted With the Diagnosis of ST-elevation Acute Coronary SyndromeThe prognostic value of inflammatory markers in acute coronary syndrome has been extensively demonstrated, however it is still unknown whether there is an association between circulating and local (thrombus) inflammatory molecules, and the subset of molecules that provide better prognostic information in patients with ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome.
Clopidogrel Pharmacogenetic Score System
Acute Coronary SyndromeThe aim of the present study is to evaluate candidate variables, including Cytochrome P450 2C19(CYP2C19) genotypes, clinical and demographic variables,to establish a simple risk score that can be easily adopted by clinicians to identify patients who are at risk for HPR and composite cardiovascular outcomes in Chinese Han patients treated with dual antiplatelet therapy.
Quantification and Description of the Increase in Serum Troponin Following Acute Coronary Syndrome...
Acute Coronary SyndromeMyocardial Infarction1 moreThe new assay of troponins T (highly sensitive troponins) detects concentrations much lower than before. Few data are currently available on their kinetics during acute coronary syndrome, especially in regard to the correlation with CK MB. The aim of the present study is to describe the kinetic of highly sensitive troponins in acute coronary syndrome, to correlate it with the concentration of CK MB, and possibly to evaluate their prognostic value with respect to infarct size .
African-American Pharmacogenetics
Acute Coronary SyndromeThis is a genetic and platelet reactivity study of African-American versus Caucasian patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention and receiving clopidogrel or prasugrel. The investigators aim is twofold: to describe differences in allele frequencies between African-Americans and Caucasians, and to explore associations of platelet reactivity and genetic polymorphisms in these two groups.
Jakarta Acute Coronary Syndrome Registry
Acute Coronary SyndromeJakarta acute coronary syndrome enrolled patients with acute coronary syndrome admitted to the emergency department of all health centers in Jakarta and the surrounding area.
Non Invasive Extra-corporeal ECG Signal Analysis Algorithm( NID Algorithm) for Myocardial Ischemia...
Acute Coronary SyndromeMyocardial IschemiaThe NIA algorithm is similar to the traditional 12-lead ECG equipment. By analyzing patient data, NIA algorithm provides more detailed results compared to traditional 12-lead ECG. Patients with suspected coronary artery disease are conventionally diagnosed and treated by cardiac catheterization. However, cardiac catheterization is invasive procedure. Unless clinical diagnosis is evident before cardiac catheterization, a treadmill exercise test, a nuclear medicine myocardial perfusion test, or a multi-direction coronary CT angiogram is usually performed to increase the accuracy of diagnosis. But these examinations are not accessible to all patients, and are time-consuming and costly.
Persistent Platelet Reactivity in Acute Coronary Syndrome
Acute Coronary SyndromeStudy of persistent platelet reactivity during acute coronary syndrome. Patients are included at admission to the hospital. Platelet aggregation is evaluated by platelet function testing after blood sampling during hospitalization. No changes in treatment is planned.
Portuguese Registry on Acute Coronary Syndromes
Acute Coronary SyndromeThe purpose of this Registry is creating a database management that allows continuous monitoring characteristics, evolution, prognostic indicators and management of patients with ACS admitted in Portuguese Hospitals, and identify the appropriateness of clinical practice recommendations for diagnosis and treatment of ACS and monitor its evolution.
The TAKO-TSUBO And Cancer Registry
Tako-Tsubo CardiomyopathyStress-induced Cardiomyopathy1 moreProspective, multicenter, observational registry collecting data from subjects with Tako-Tsubo (stress-induced) cardiomyopathy (TTC). Uniform, complete, and accurate data will be collected on the subject's medical history, during index hospitalization for TTC, and during follow-up. The objectives are to evaluate the prevalence and incidence of cancer in patients with TTC, to document the underlying causes of death during hospital stay and during follow-up, to determine the long-term prognosis, and to identify possible predictors of short and long-term mortality.
Circulating microRNAs in Patients With STEMI Complicated With Cardiogenic Shock
STEMICardiogenic Shock2 moreThe aim of the study is knowing the prognostic value of circulating miRNAs in patients admitted to our hospital with STEMI complicated with cardiogenic shock.
