PCSK 9 Inhibitor Added to High-Intensity Statin Therapy to Prevent Cardiovascular Events in Patients...

Acute Coronary SyndromeHyperlipidemias2 more

The primary objective was to evaluate the effect of PCSK 9 Inhibitor (initiated within 4 h from PCI for the culprit lesion) with high-intensity statin treatment, compared to placebo with high-intensity statin treatment, on cardiovascular events (including cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, stroke or transit ischemic attack, re-hospitalization due to unstable angina or heart failure, or any ischemia-driven coronary revascularization) in patients with acute coronary syndrome and multiple lesions.

COLchicine On-admission to Reduce Inflammation in Acute Coronary Syndrome (COLOR-ACS)

Non ST Segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndrome

Since colchicine is known to have anti-inflammatory effects and inflammation is an early component of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), this study aims to evaluate the acute effects of low-dose colchicine, in addition to atorvastatin, administered on-admission to statin-naive patients with non-ST elevation ACS scheduled for early invasive strategy.

Low-Density-Lipoprotein-Type [LDL] Hyperlipoproteinemia

Investigators aimed to evaluate efficacy and safety of early Initiation of evolocumab and combination lipid-lowering agent (statin + Ezetimibe) on lipid profiles changes in patients with ACS undergoing PCI

Positive Emotions Following Acute Cardiac Events

Acute Coronary SyndromePhysical Inactivity

The focus of this study is to test the efficacy of a 12-week, remotely delivered, positive-psychology-motivational interviewing (PP-MI) intervention, with additional twice weekly text messages for a total of 24 weeks (with interactive, algorithm-driven, goal-focused text messages in the final 12 weeks), compared to post-acute coronary syndrome (ACS) treatment as usual, in a randomized trial of 280 post-ACS patients with low baseline physical activity.

Effect of Colchicine on Coronary Reperfusion in Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome

Acute Coronary Syndrome

This randomized clinical trial will determine the treatment effect of colchicine (1.5 mg loading dose and 0.5 mg daily thereafter) for 6 weeks on microvascular coronary reperfusion and infarct size in patients with acute coronary syndrome.

Switching From Ticagrelor to Prasugrel in Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome

Acute Coronary Syndrome

This study proposes to conduct the switch from ticagrelor to prasugrel in an organized stepwise manner, to allow for the evaluation of the relative efficacy of prasugrel versus ticagrelor using a stepped-wedge cluster randomized trial design.

Ticagrelor Monotherapy in PAtients Treated With New-generation Drug-eluting Stents for Acute Coronary...

Coronary Artery DiseaseAcute Coronary Syndrome

We hypothesized that ticagrelor monotherapy might be enough to prevent thromboembolic events without aspirin after PCI in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS). Moreover, ticagrelor monotherapy will reduce bleeding risk compared to DAPT with aspirin plus ticagrelor. We will also evaluate 1-year safety and efficacy of Orsiro stent for patient with acute coronary syndrome. After confirmation of enrollment, patients will be randomized to continue standard treatment (aspirin plus ticagrelor) for 1 year or to stop aspirin after discharge or less than 1 month after PCI (ticagrelor monotherapy). Randomization will be stratified according to 1) the presence of diabetes and 2) ST elevation myocardial infarction (MI). Baseline clinical and angiographic characteristics, laboratory findings will be assessed at the time of randomization. All patients will provide informed consent on their own initiative.

ST Elevation Myocardial InfarctionNon ST Segment Elevation Acute Coronary Syndrome

The purpose of this study is to evaluate analgesic efficacy of inhaled methoxyflurane vs intravenous morphine in patients presenting with acute ST-elevation (STEMI) / non ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS)

PASSIvation of Vulnerable Plaque With AZD5718 in AcuTe Coronary syndromE

Acute Coronary Syndrome

This is a multi-center study conducted at 13 sites in 3 countries (Singapore, New Zealand, and the Australia). Approximately 260 patients with an acute myocardial infarction (AMI) will be randomized in a ratio of 1:1 ratio to receive AZD5718 125 mg or placebo for 12 months.
