Biomarker Rule in/Out in Patients With Acute Diseases for Validation of AKI (BRAVA) Acute Kidney...
Acute Kidney InjuryThe presence or development of AKI impacts on outcomes in patients presenting with acute conditions to the ED. As a result, treating physicians are often concerned with the risk of AKI and take such risk in consideration when making subsequent therapeutic and diagnostic decisions which may result in delaying or withholding therapeutic measures in order to prevent further kidney damage (i.e. avoid imaging studies with contrast media). If clinicians could be informed early that a patient is at minimal risk for AKI, they could deploy timely and optimal diagnostic and treatment procedures for the underlying disease of the patient without major concerns for causing or exacerbating kidney damage

Targeted PCR and Acute Endophthalmitis
Acute Endophthalmitis Post-operativeEndophthalmitis is a serious eye infection of exogenous origin (post-operational, post-traumatic) or endogenous origin (metastatic). This is a diagnostic and therapeutic emergency. Each patient suffering from endophthalmitis must have immediately an ocular sampling, an intra ocular injection of antibiotics and a systemic antibiotic cover. The etiological treatment will be adapted according to the infectious agent.

Use Of The ABSS In Infants With ARIS Treated With Outpatient Respiratory Physiotherapy
Acute Disease RespiratoryBackground. Acute respiratory infections in childhood have high incidence and morbimortality rates, generating significant sanitary and social costs. Due to its diversity of manifestations and clinical forms, the degree of severity varies widely. Published acute respiratory infections assessment severity scales are mainly focused on acute bronchiolitis, but there is no validated scale to evaluate the effects of respiratory physiotherapy in acute respiratory infections in children. Objective. To study the usefulness of the Acute Bronchiolitis Severity Scale to assess children under 24 months suffering from acute respiratory infections susceptible to receive outpatient respiratory physiotherapy treatment. Methods. Pre-post assessment descriptive study using the Acute Bronchiolitis Severity Scale. Children under 24 months suffering from acute respiratory infection will be evaluated during the first outpatient respiratory physiotherapy treatment.
