Efficacy and Safety of MRI-based Thrombolysis in Wake-up Stroke
StrokeWAKE-UP is an investigator initiated European multicenter randomized controlled clinical trial of MRI based thrombolysis in acute stroke patients with unknown time of symptom onset, e.g. due to recognition of stroke symptoms on awakening. Objective of WAKE-UP is to prove efficacy and safety of MRI-based intravenous thrombolysis with Alteplase in patients waking up with stroke symptoms or patients with otherwise unknown symptom onset.

Mechanical Recanalization With Flow Restoration in Acute Ischemic Stroke
Acute StrokeThe objective of this study is to collect data on the use of the SOLITAIR FR device for treatment of acute ischemic stroke with large artery occlusion i.e. to investigate, whether the application of SOLITAIR is a safe and feasible method for interventional recanalization of large vessels with favorable patient outcome in acute stroke therapy.

Safety of Intravenous Thrombolysis for Wake-up Stroke
Ischemic StrokeThe purpose is to demonstrate the safety of intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (IV t-PA) in ischemic stroke patients who present to the emergency department (ED) after awakening with the symptoms of suspected ischemic stroke.

Study to Examine the Effects of MultiStem in Ischemic Stroke
Ischemic StrokeA study to examine the safety and potential effectiveness of the adult stem cell investigational product, MultiStem, in adults who have suffered an ischemic stroke. The hypothesis is that MultiStem will be safe and provide benefit following an ischemic stroke.

Autologous Bone Marrow Stromal Cell and Endothelial Progenitor Cell Transplantation in Ischemic...
StrokeInfarction1 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility, efficacy, and safety of autologous transplantation of ex vivo expanded bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs)and endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) for treatment of patients with ischemic stroke.

Clinical Mismatch in the Triage of Wake Up and Late Presenting Strokes Undergoing Neurointervention...
Ischemic StrokeThe purpose of the study is to evaluate the hypothesis that Trevo thrombectomy plus medical management leads to superior clinical outcomes at 90 days as compared to medical management alone in appropriately selected subjects experiencing an acute ischemic stroke when treatment is initiated within 6-24 hours after last seen well.

Safety Evaluation of 3K3A-APC in Ischemic Stroke
Ischemic StrokeThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK) and preliminary efficacy of multiple ascending intravenous doses of 3K3A-APC, a Recombinant Variant of Human activated protein C (APC), in in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke following treatment with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (tPA), mechanical thrombectomy or both.

Clinical Study of Desmoteplase in Japanese Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke
Acute Ischemic StrokeThe purpose of the study is to evaluate whether desmoteplase is safe and tolerated when given to Japanese patients with acute ischemic stroke

SOLITAIRE™ FR With the Intention For Thrombectomy (SWIFT) Study
Ischemic StrokeThe purpose of this study is to demonstrate substantial equivalence of the SOLITAIRE™ FR Revascularization Device (SOLITAIRE™ Device) with a legally marketed device, MERCI Retrieval System® (MERCI® Device). The study will demonstrate safety and efficacy of the SOLITAIRE™ Device in subjects requiring mechanical thrombectomy diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke.

Percutaneous Recanalization in Ischemic Stroke Management (PRIISM): A Feasibility Clinical Study...
Ischemic StrokeThe primary study objective is to assess the feasibility of using the MindFrame System to safely and effectively restore blood flow in a thrombotic neurovascular occlusion in patients experiencing an ischemic stroke.
