DS-8201a in Patients With Cancer That Tests Positive for Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor...
AdenocarcinomaGastric2 moreHER2-positive cancer is a cancer that tests positive for a protein called human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). HER2 promotes the growth of certain cancer cells. This study will test DS-8201a (trastuzumab deruxtecan), a HER2-targeted antibody and topoisomerase I inhibitor conjugate. The safety and tolerability profile of DS-8201a will be assessed in Chinese patients with certain types of stomach and breast cancer that test positive for HER2. It also will test how DS-8201a moves within the body (pharmacokinetics).

Rectal AdenocarcinomaPrestoma Trial is designed to compare the safety and efficiency of three different meshes and techniques to prevent parastomal hernia after laparoscopic or robotic-assisted abdominoperineal resection for rectal adenocarcinoma.

IRX-2, Cyclophosphamide, and Pembrolizumab in Treating Participants With Recurrent or Metastatic...
Clinical Stage IV Gastric Cancer AJCC v8Clinical Stage IV Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma AJCC v816 moreThis phase Ib/II trial studies the side effects of IRX-2, cyclophosphamide, and pembrolizumab work in treating participants with gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has come back or that has spread to other places in the body. Interleukins, such as those found in IRX-2, are proteins made by white blood cells and other cells in the body and may help regulate immune response. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving RX-2, cyclophosphamide, and pembrolizumab may work better in treating participants with gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer.

Bemcentinib (BGB324) in Combination With Pembrolizumab in Patients With Advanced NSCLC
Lung Cancer MetastaticNSCLC Stage IV1 moreThis is an open-label, multi-center, single arm, phase II study to assess the anti-tumor activity and safety of bemcentinib when given in combination with pembrolizumab in up to 106 participants with previously treated, advanced adenocarcinoma of the lung. The study will enroll three cohorts of participants with previously treated, advanced adenocarcinoma of the lung: Cohort A will consist of participants who received a maximum of 1 prior line of platinum-containing chemotherapy and no prior immunotherapy of any kind. Cohort B will consist of participants who received a maximum of one prior line of an anti-programmed death receptor (PD)-(L)1 therapy (monotherapy). Cohort C will consist of participants who received a maximum of one prior line of therapy with an anti-PD-(L)1 therapy in combination with a platinum-containing chemotherapy. The primary objective is to assess the anti-tumor activity of bemcentinib and pembrolizumab when given in combination.

Small Cell Lung CancerGastric Adenocarcinoma6 moreThe purpose of this signal seeking study is to determine whether treatment with PDR001 and LAG525 demonstrates sufficient efficacy in advanced malignancies to warrant further study.

Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Andecaliximab Combined With Nivolumab Versus Nivolumab...
Gastric AdenocarcinomaGastroesophageal Junction AdenocarcinomaThe primary objective of this study is to evaluate and compare the efficacy of andecaliximab (GS-5745) in combination with nivolumab versus nivolumab alone in adults with recurrent gastric or gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) adenocarcinoma.

Mobile Health Application (PACT) to Improve Engagement in Advance Care Planning
Clinical Stage III Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma AJCC v8Clinical Stage IV Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma AJCC v843 moreThis clinical trial tests a new mobile health application (app) called Planning Advance Care Together (PACT) to help people with cancer talk about and plan for advance care planning (the care they would want if they were unable to communicate) with their loved ones and doctors. The development of the PACT mobile app may help future patients incorporate their social network (typically, but not exclusively, family) into the advance care planning process.
