Hypofractionated Proton Beam Therapy for Localized Prostate Cancer
Stage I Prostate Adenocarcinoma AJCC v7Stage II Prostate Adenocarcinoma AJCC v7This phase II trial studies the side effects and how well hypofractionated proton beam radiation therapy works in treating patients with prostate cancer that has not spread to nearby lymph nodes or to other parts of the body. Specialized radiation therapy, such as proton beam radiation therapy, that delivers a high dose of radiation directly to the tumor may kill more tumor cells and cause less damage to normal tissue.

Cabozantinib S-Malate in Treating Patients With Recurrent or Metastatic Endometrial Cancer
Endometrial Adenosquamous CarcinomaEndometrial Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma8 moreThis phase II trial studies how well cabozantinib s-malate works in treating patients with endometrial cancer that has come back (recurrent) or has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). Cabozantinib s-malate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumor.

Comparison of HT Concomitant With RT vs RT Alone in Patients With a Detectable PSA After Prostatectomy...
Adenocarcinoma of ProstateThe purpose of this study is to select the best therapeutic strategy in studying the effectiveness of the association of a short duration hormonal therapy and radiotherapy compared with radiotherapy alone, in patients with a detectable PSA after radical prostatectomy.

FOLFOX-6 Induction Chemotherapy Followed by Esophagectomy and Post-operative Chemoradiotherapy in...
Adenocarcinoma of the EsophagusAdenocarcinoma of the Gastroesophageal Junction4 moreThis phase II trial studies how well oxaliplatin, leucovorin calcium, and fluorouracil followed by surgery and response based concurrent chemotherapy and radiation therapy works in treating patients with cancer of the esophagus, gastroesophageal junction, or gastric cardia. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as oxaliplatin, leucovorin calcium, fluorouracil, paclitaxel, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Radiation therapy uses high energy x rays to kill tumor cells. Giving chemotherapy followed by surgery and response based chemotherapy and radiation therapy may kill more tumor cells.

Finite Androgen Ablation With or Without Abiraterone Acetate and Prednisone in Treating Patients...
Prostate AdenocarcinomaRecurrent Prostate CarcinomaThis phase II trial studies how well finite androgen ablation with or without abiraterone acetate and prednisone work in treating patients with prostate cancer that has come back. Androgen can cause the growth of prostate cancer cells. Hormone therapy, such as finite androgen ablation, using leuprolide acetate, goserelin acetate, degarelix, bicalutamide, flutamide, and nilutamide may fight prostate cancer by lowering the amount of androgen the body makes. Abiraterone acetate may help to decrease the production of testosterone, and prednisone may help lower or prevent some side effects. It is not yet known whether giving acetate, goserelin acetate, degarelix, bicalutamide, flutamide, and nilutamide with or without abiraterone acetate and prednisone may work better in treating patients with prostate cancer.

Short Course Vaginal Cuff Brachytherapy in Treating Patients With Stage I-II Endometrial Cancer...
Endometrial Clear Cell AdenocarcinomaEndometrial Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma7 moreThis randomized phase III trial studies short course vaginal cuff brachytherapy to see how well it works compared with standard of care vaginal cuff brachytherapy in treating patients with stage I-II endometrial cancer. Short course vaginal cuff brachytherapy, also known as internal radiation therapy, uses (over a shorter period) radioactive material placed directly into or near a tumor in the upper portion of the vagina to kill tumor cells.

Serial Measurements of Molecular and Architectural Responses to Therapy (SMMART) PRIME Trial
Accelerated Phase Chronic Myelogenous LeukemiaBCR-ABL1 Positive55 moreThis phase Ib trial determines if samples from a patient's cancer can be tested to find combinations of drugs that provide clinical benefit for the kind of cancer the patient has. This study is also being done to understand why cancer drugs can stop working and how different cancers in different people respond to different types of therapy.

Phase II Study of Docetaxel Before Degarelix in Patients With Newly Diagnosed Metastatic Prostate...
Metastatic Prostatic AdenocarcinomaThe purpose of this study is to look at patient outcomes when docetaxel is started prior to ADT with degarelix.
