RITUAL Ultivision AI CADe Randomized Controlled Trial

Colon AdenomaPolyp of Colon1 more

Ultivision AI is a computer-assisted detection (CADe) device intended to aid endoscopists in the real-time identification of colonic mucosal lesions (such as polyps and adenomas). Ultivision AI CADe is indicated for white light colonoscopy only.

Corticotrophin-releasing Hormone (CRH) Stimulation for 18F-FDG-PET Detection of Pituitary Adenoma...

Cushing's DiseasePituitary Adenoma

Background: Cushing s disease is caused by a pituitary gland tumor. Patients with Cushing s disease suffer obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, weakness, and hypertension. The cure is surgery to remove the pituitary tumor. Currently, MRI is the best way to find these tumors. But not all tumors can be seen with an MRI. Researchers hope giving the hormone CRH before a PET scan can help make these tumors more visible. Objective: To test whether giving CRH before a PET scan will help find pituitary gland tumors that might be causing Cushing s disease. Eligibility: People ages 8 and older with Cushing s disease that is caused by a pituitary gland tumor that cannot be reliably seen on MRI Design: Participants will be screened with their medical history, a physical exam, an MRI, and blood tests. Participants will have at least one hospital visit. During their time in the hospital, they will have a physical exam and a neurological exam. They will have a PET scan of the brain. A thin plastic tube will be inserted into an arm vein. A small amount of radioactive sugar and CRH will be injected through the tube. Participants will lie in a darkened room for about an hour and be asked to urinate. Then they will lie inside the scanner for about 40 minutes. After the scan, they will be asked to urinate every 2-3 hours for the rest of the day. Blood will be drawn through a needle in the arm. Participants will have surgery to remove their tumor within 3 months after the scan. Participants will then continue regular follow-up in the clinic.

Artificial Intelligence Aid Systems and Endocuff in Colorectal Adenoma Detection

Adenoma Detection Rate

The main purpose of the study to evaluate the usefulness of the Endo-AID artificial intelligence system combined with endocuff compared with endocuff in the detection of colorectal adenomas in consecutive patients for outpatient colonoscopy. The secondary aims were: To evaluate the benefit of Endo-AID and endocuff in adenoma detection rate by comparing endoscopists with high and low adenoma detection rate. To evaluate serrated detection rate, advanced adenoma detection rate, adenoma detection rate according to the size (<= 5mm, 6-9mm,> = 10mm) and number of adenomas by colonoscopy. Stratification by location and morphology.

Real-time Computer-Aided Detection of Colonic Adenomas With NEC WISE VISION® Endoscopy

Colorectal CancerAdenoma Colon1 more

This is a prospective, multicenter, randomized study to evaluate the clinical performance of a novel CADe device, WISE VISION® Endoscopy System, in patients undergoing high-definition white light (HDWL) colonoscopy for screening or surveillance of colorectal Cancer (CRC). Eligible subjects who meet the study inclusion/exclusion criteria will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to undergo colonoscopy : Experimental: CADe colonoscopy procedure with WISE VISION® Endoscopy (CADe Group) Control: Standard Colonoscopy without CADe (Standard Colonoscopy Group)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assisted Real-time Adenoma Detection During Colonoscopies

Artificial Intelligence

This is a pragmatic, double-blind, randomized, controlled trial, to assess whether the implementation of CADe (GI genius) significantly affects the ADR in screening and surveillance population. The main hypothesis of this study is that the ADR in the operating room equipped with the GI genius CADe system will be significantly higher than the ADR in the ordinary operating room.

Colorectal (Colon or Rectal) CancerAdenoma

This is a multicenter, 3-arm, randomized, open-label study. Subjects referred to colonoscopy for screening or surveillance will be randomized in a 2:5:5 into one of the following arms: (i) Standard Colonoscopy (ii) Artificial Intelligence Aided Colonoscopy (GI Genius™) (iii) Combined Artificial Intelligence Aided Colonoscopy (GI Genius™) and G-EYE® Balloon Aided Colonoscopy

Motorized Spiral Colonoscopy Trial: A First Feasibility Trial

ColonoscopySafety Issues1 more

The aim of this study is to assess the feasibility and the safety of the Novel Motorized Spiral Endoscope to examine the colon. The study is conceived as proof of concept trial with the primary aim to achieve a cecal intubation rate of at least 90 % according to quality guidelines recommendations. All other clinically relevant quality parameters of standard colonoscopy will be evaluated as secondary aims comparable to our recent trial. This study represents the first clinical evaluation of using a motorized spiral assisted endoscope for examination of the colon with potential advantages for patients in terms of effectiveness and convenience of colonoscopy.

Renal Sympathetic Denervation From The Adventitia on Hypertension

Primary Aldosteronism Due to Aldosterone Producing Adenoma

Renal sympathetic denervation from the intima of renal arteries has become an important method for the treatment of resistant hypertension, but renal sympathetic nerve are mainly located in the adventitia, and there is no report about renal sympathetic denervation from the renal adventitia. Primary aldosteronism is an important factor of secondary hypertension, tumor aldosterone in unilateral adrenal can increase the concentration of plasma aldosterone, in some patients blood pressure control is still not desirable after resection of tumor aldosterone. This study intends to conduct renal sympathetic denervation ablation from the adventitia to observe its efficacy and safety on blood pressure of patients with primary aldosterone.
