A Study on a Blood-based Dual-target Test for CRC Detection
Colorectal CancerColorectal AdenomaTo evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of the ctDNA dual-target test kit in a large case-control cohort for the detection of colorectal cancer and advanced adenomas.
Clinical Registry of nCLE in Masses and Cystic Tumors of the Pancreas, Lymph Nodes, Submucosal Lesions...
Pancreatic CystPancreatic Neoplasms6 moreThis study focuses on four different lesions: pancreatic cysts, lymph nodes near the gastrointestinal tract, pancreatic masses and GIST tumors. On one hand, the results obtained during previous studies are more advanced for the assessment of the diagnostic performance of Cellvizio needle-based Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy (nCLE) system for Pancreatic cysts. Safety and technical feasibility have already been performed, and an interpretation criteria classification exists. On the other hand, results for pancreatic masses, Lymph nodes and GIST are less developed. the objectives of the study are to Assess the diagnostic performance of the Cellvizio needle-based Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy (nCLE) system in diagnosing masses and cystic tumors of the pancreas, lymph nodes, submucosal lesions of the GI tract Define/Validate descriptive criteria of nCLE sequences in masses and cystic tu-mors of the pancreas, lymph nodes, submucosal lesions of the GI tract
Acetic Acid Colonoscopy Enhancement Study
Colorectal CancerSerrated Adenomas1 moreThe purpose of this study is to compare the additional diagnostic yield obtained by using the acetic acid as vital substance to improve the detection of serrated lesions at colonoscopy. Patients who are scheduled for screening, surveillance or diagnostic colonoscopy will be recruited to the study and randomized to one of two groups. Each enrolled subject will undergo two "back-to-back" procedures limited to the examination of the right colon. Subjects in Group A (study group) will undergo a standard colonoscopy. Once the right colon has been fully examined, acetic acid 2% will be sprayed and the right colon re-examined from cecum to hepatic flexure with within a frame-time of two minutes. Subjects in Group B (control group) will undergo a second examination of the right colon without acid acetic and within the same frame-time. Results from the two groups will be analyzed and compared, with primary outcome measures being detection rates for serrated lesions. Secondary outcome measures will include adenoma detection rate in the right colon or other locations, characteristics of polyps detected, including size and histological results. Subjects will be followed through a 24-72 hour telephone interview for analysis of unexpected adverse events. Clinical results will be analyzed using various statistical measures of significance.
Clinical Evaluation Of Needle-based Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy in The Lymph Nodes Along With...
Pancreatic CystPancreatic Neoplasms5 moreThis study focuses on three different lesions: pancreatic cysts, lymph nodes near the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic masses. On the other hand, results for pancreatic masses and Lymph nodes are less developed. The study therefore comprises two sub-studies, one on the pancreatic cysts, and another on pancreatic masses and lymph nodes. Cysts The primary hypothesis of the study is that using nCLE in addition to EUS-FNA and tissue sampling allows better characterization of pancreatic cysts and improves appropriate therapeutic decision-making. For physicians, integrating nCLE into the diagnostic algorithm of pancreatic cysts could impact patient management by : Ruling out malignancy for patients with benign appearing nCLE images. Characterizing more malignant tumors in the pancreas. Pancreatic masses and Lymph nodes The primary hypothesis of the study is that in vivo imaging of lymph-nodes near the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic masses during EUS-FNA procedures is feasible and that descriptive criteria can be defined to further differentiate the different types of lesions.
Does the Hyoscine N-Butylbromide Administered During Colonoscopy Increase the Adenoma Detection...
Colonic AdenomasThe primary aim of the study was to test if the administration of Hyoscine Butyl Bromide, at time of caecal intubation, increases the adenoma detection rate.
Intubation Techniques on Colonoscopy Quality (SINOCOLO2013)
Colorectal AdenomaColorectal PolypThe primary aim of this study is - to explore the usefulness of abdominal compression on intubation. Other aims include to investigate the effectiveness and the efficacy of different manners of abdominal compression and to analysis the reasons of their success and failure to get the knowledge of the formation of colon loops and its frequency to clarify the impact of intubation with loops on adenoma detection rate
Long-term Follow-up Prognosis of Atrophic Gastritis After 3 Years
Gastric NeoplasmGastric Cancer3 moreSerum pepsinogen (PG) levels are considered reliable markers for progression of atrophic gastritis with a stepwise reduction in the serum PG I level or PG I/II ratio. A combination of serum PG levels and Helicobacter pylori serology are used as a biomarker strategy for detection of individuals at increased risk of gastric neoplasm based on Correa's hypothesis. The investigators aimed to uncover whether this combination method could predict the risk of gastric neoplasms and the progression of chronic atrophic gastritis after 3 years. All the participants will be followed for an expected average of 3 years.
Glycemic Fluctuations in Newly Diagnosed Growth Hormone-Secreting Pituitary Adenoma and Cushing...
Pituitary AdenomaGlucose fluctuations present not only in patients with diabetes mellitus but also in subjects with normal glucose tolerance or impaired glucose regulation. People with Growth Hormone-Secreting Pituitary Adenoma and Cushing Syndrome are at risk of impaired glucose metabolism. Glycemic variability is poorly studied in the nondiabetic individuals. The aim of the study is to investigate the characteristics of glucose fluctuations in the newly diagnosed Growth Hormone-Secreting Pituitary Adenoma and Cushing Syndrome individuals.
Omission of Intact Parathyroid Hormone Testing During Surgery in Treating Patients With Primary...
Parathyroid Gland AdenomaPrimary HyperparathyroidismThis clinical trial studies the omission of intact parathyroid hormone testing during surgery in treating patients with primary hyperparathyroidism. Omission of intact parathyroid hormone testing during parathyroid gland removal may help patients with primary hyperparathyroidism to decrease their time under anesthesia, and decrease the overall time and cost of surgery.
