Numerous Physiotherapy techniques have been found to be beneficial but there is no consensus on the best treatment approach for speeding up rehabilitation process and rejuvenating functional capacity in patients suffering from Adhesive capsulitis. Spencer Muscle energy technique is found to be effective in treatment of shoulder pathologies. It increases pain free range of motion through stretching the tissues, enhancing lymphatic flow and increasing the joint circulation where as Strain Counter Strain is a technique derived from positional release therapy which uses a pain monitor (trigger points) to find the position of the pain when it is no longer felt at the monitoring point. The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of Spencer Muscle energy technique with and without the employment of Strain Counter Strain on pain, Range of motion and disability in Adhesive capsulitis.

Various stretches are used to lengthen the posterior shoulder capsule. No study has reported the comparison of the pragmatic posterior capsular stretch and cross body stertch

Between the large trochanter and the muscles adhering to it, trochanteric bursa and several other bursa may be found. Trochanteric bursitis can be alone or together with tendinitis of other bursa and adhering muscles. The first is called trochanteric bursitis, the second is called hip periarthritis, which is difficult to distinguish clinically. It is more common in women of middle age. The main complaint is the large trochanter and pain on the side of the thigh. Pain is aggregated by walking abduction and external rotation by walking, lying down with hip movements. The palpation is sensitive to the top of the large trochanter. There may also be tenderness in the muscles in the lateral of the thigh. On plain radiographs, slight irregularities or peritrocanteric calcifications can be seen in the large trochanter. Bone scintigraphy shows local increased involvement. In differential diagnosis, stress fractures, local infection and bone and soft tissue tumors should be considered. Rest is recommended in treatment. Activities such as running, standing for a long time are prohibited. Ice application can be given in the acute period. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (SOAI) drugs, analgesics, TENS can be used for pain relief. In cases where conventional treatments are insufficient, that is, the patient's pain is still continuing and functional recovery is inadequate, some alternative methods are also applied. These treatments include ozone, prolotherapy injection applications, dry needling, acupuncture, hirudotherapy, phytotherapy, mesotherapy, balneotherapy, kinesiobanding, etc. d. In our study, we aim to compare the effectiveness of ozone injection in patients diagnosed with trochanteric bursitis and to compare steroid injection with the application of ozone therapy.

The purpose of this study is to compare ultrasound guided capsular corticosteroid injection into the rotator interval/anterior capsule and the GH joint with ultrasound guided corticosteroid injection into the GH joint only. Both methods will be compared with placebo injections. Primary outcome measure: pain reduction at week 6 Secondary outcome measures: improvement of function (SPADI, Life quality, ROM). 0-hypothesis: no difference between the methods. The investigators want to find out if the clinical effect of the combined capsular and intra-articular injections are better than placebo and better that intra-articular injections

Musculoskeletal disorders such as adhesive capsulitis (AC) affect tissues such as muscles, bones, joints, tendons and ligaments and are the second most disabling condition worldwide. Musculoskeletal Systemic disorders are typically characterized by pain, limitations in joint range of motion or functional ability. Existing studies have shown that Virtual Reality (VR) is beneficial in pain management for example; pain relief during dressing changes in burn patients. VR can also reduce anxiety, distract from the fear of pain, and reduce stress. It can distract the patients who are afraid of moving due to pain and enable them to move freely. In this study, AC patients will be treated with VR application. Patients pain levels, upper extremity range of motion, functional activity levels and quality of life levels will be evaluated. A total of 36 patients will be included in the study. This observational randomized controlled study will contribute to the literature by investigating the effects of VR based exercises in individuals with AC.

The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the effect of listening to music during the treatment of frozen shoulder on pain, normal range of motion, functional activity status and quality of life.Upon recruitment, the subjects were randomly assigned to one of four treatment groups: Group 1 received Music + Mobilization + Exercise, Group 2 received Music + Exercise, Group 3 received Mobilization + Exercise, and Group 4 received Exercise only.

The effect of combination of hydrodilatation, corticosteroid injection, and joint mobilization for treatment of frozen shoulder, compared with general physical therapy.

This study was done to investigate whether platelet rich plasma(PRP) injections are effective in the management of adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder(AC).Patients were randomized to 2 groups, and one group took PRP injections for 3 times every two weeks, while the other group took saline injections in same frequency and volume. A standardized exercise programme was also applied to all patients. Patients were then evaluated with Shoulder Pain and Disability Index(SPADI), Visual analogous scales for pain and disability, Ranges of Movements and use of analgesics in before, after and 3rd month of the therapy.

In this study, a combination of different types of blocks for adhesive capsulitis surgery, the investigators will investigate the impact on patient satisfaction and analgesic consumption after surgery.
