Amla on Metabolic Syndrome, Insulin Sensitivity and Insulin Secretion
Metabolic SyndromeAmla has demonstrated promising effects in the treatment of obesity, dyslipidemia, hypertension, insulin secretion, among others. The above mentioned findings show that Amla has an excellent potential for the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome.

Study in Pediatric Subjects With Peanut Allergy to Evaluate Efficacy and Safety of Dupilumab as...
Peanut AllergyPrimary objective is to assess whether dupilumab as adjunct to AR101 compared to placebo improves desensitization at the completion of up-dosing, defined as an increase in the proportion of participants who pass a post up-dosing double-blind placebo-controlled food challenge (DBPCFC) at visit 16. Secondary objectives are: To assess whether dupilumab as adjunct to AR101 compared to placebo improves desensitization at the completion of up-dosing, defined as an increase in the cumulative tolerated dose (log transformed) of peanut protein during a post up-dosing DBPCFC at visit 16 To assess whether dupilumab as (indefinite [continuously]) adjunct to AR101 compared to placebo maintains desensitization, defined as an increase in the proportion of participants who pass a post maintenance DBPCFC at visit 22 To assess whether dupilumab as (limited [previously]) adjunct to AR101 compared to placebo maintains desensitization, defined as an increase in the proportion of participants who pass a post maintenance DBPCFC at visit 22 To evaluate the safety and tolerability of dupilumab as adjunct to AR101 compared to placebo To assess the effect of dupilumab (compared to placebo) as adjunct to AR101 on the change in peanut-specific Immunoglobulin E (sIgE), Immunoglobulin G (IgG), Immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4), and peanut-specific IgG4/IgE ratio To assess if dupilumab increases the tolerability of AR101 as measured by the daily symptoms (electronic diary [e-diary]) during the up-dosing phase

ODM-201 in Addition to Standard ADT and Docetaxel in Metastatic Castration Sensitive Prostate Cancer...
Metastatic Hormone-sensitive Prostate CancerThe purpose of the study is to assess the efficacy and safety of BAY1841788 (darolutamide (ODM-201)) in combination with standard androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and docetaxel in patients with metastatic hormone sensitive prostate cancer.

Effect of Banaba (Lagerstroemia Speciosa) on Metabolic Syndrome, Insulin Secretion and Insulin Sensitivity...
Metabolic Syndrome XThe Metabolic Syndrome is a high prevalence disease worldwide. About a quarter of the adult population suffers the disease. Banaba has shown evidence that has on metabolic syndrome, insulin sensitivity and insulin secretion. The investigators hypothesis was that the the administration of resveratrol modifies the metabolic syndrome, insulin sensitivity and insulin secretion.

Short Term Effect of Liraglutide Versus Vildagliptine on Insulin Secretion and Insulin Sensitivity...
Type 2 Diabetes MellitusThis is a single blind randomised controlled clinical trial in uncontrolled type 2 Diabetes mellitus patients on oral glucose lowering agents, and naive to incretinomimetic. Participants will be randomised in two Arms : arm 1 receiving Liraglutide at 1,2 mg/day and arm 2 Vildagliptine at 100mg/day over 14 days. The two arms will be compared for 14-day changes in insulin secretion and insulin sensitivity.

Cough Desensitization Therapy for Cough Hypersensitivity Syndrome
CoughThe purpose of this study is to investigate a modified behavioral treatment for chronic cough due to cough hypersensitivity syndrome (CHS). This type of CC is a non-productive cough that is due, in part, to over-expression of transient receptor potential vanilliod (TRPV) receptors in the airway epithelium, which contribute to a dry cough elicited by typically non-tussive stimuli (e.g., cold air, smells) or by low doses of tussive stimuli (e.g., smoke). Currently available treatment options are limited to neuromodulator medications (e.g., gabapentin, amytriptiline) and behavioral cough suppression therapy (BCST), neither of which is 100% effective. The primary component of BCST is teaching patients to suppress their cough in the presence of an urge-to-cough. Studies have confirmed a reduction in cough sensitivity (as tested with inhaled capsaicin) following 1-4 weeks of successful cough suppression. However, patients with severe CHS are not able to suppress their cough in the presence of uncontrollable environmental stimuli and, hence, do not respond well to the therapy. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential of treating CHS by implementing BCST while stimulating cough with progressive concentrations of inhaled diluted aerosolized capsaicin. The investigators hypothesize this treatment will result in a reduction in cough-reflex sensitivity, cough-related quality of life, and cough frequency.

Fluoride Varnish X Glass Ionomer Sealant on Cervical Dentin Hypersensitivity
Dentin HypersensitivityDentin SensitivityDentin hypersensitivity (DH) can be defined as acute, short-duration pain from open dentin tubules in exposed dentin. The symptom of DH is subjective and varies from patient to patient and may present as mild discomfort or as a high-intensity pain, which can affect the individual's quality of life, interfering with their eating and hygiene habits. One approach to treatment would be the use of agents that chemically desensitize sensory nerves, blocking the transmission of nerve stimuli to the central nervous system. The effectiveness of desensitizing treatments is influenced by several factors present in the oral cavity, which can contribute to a greater effect of these agents but can also be responsible for removing them from the dental surface. To date, studies have been carried out in the short term, not exceeding an average period of 12 weeks, so there is no consensus on the technique or agent that will guarantee the most effective and lasting effect against DH, not even the ideal period for reapplication. Thus, more studies are needed to assess the clinical behavior of desensitizing products on the market, especially the most recent releases. Therefore, the aim of this study was to clinically compare the effectiveness of different office treatments for DH, being ClinproTM White Varnish, ClinproTM XT Varnish, and a control group (placebo) through pain assessment with the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), after stimulation with air from the triple syringe.

In Vitro Drug Sensitivity Testing of Fresh Human Samples
Myeloproliferative DisordersLymphoproliferative DisordersHematological malignancies gather several various pathologies included myeloproliferative disorders (as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)) and lymphoproliferative disorders (as chronic lymphoid leukemia (CLL), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and multiple myeloma (MM)) . Over the last decade, the treatments have evolved significantly but the overall survival remains limited, especially for the AML and MM patients. There's an ongoing imperative to continue in-vitro and in-vivo studies to better evaluate the anti-cancer drugs sensitivity and therefore improving the response to treatments and open new fields of application. The healthy control group will be contributing to produce some pertinent and significant data for the results of the index cases group. The investigators aim to analyze 10 differents drugs, common use in chemotherapy or immunotherapy and evaluate by 2 ways the sensitivity: first, Flow cytometry (cells apoptosis by Annexine V and propidium iodide) on fresh samples and in a second time, monitoring of the blasts in the mouse's blood after injection.
