Enhancing Physical Activity in Patients With Interstitial Lung Disease
Interstitial Lung DiseaseInterstitial Pulmonary FibrosisThe level of physical activity (PA) has been shown to be an important predictor for morbidity and mortality in patients with chronic respiratory diseases such as COPD and more recently Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Physical inactivity is a common feature of patients with chronic respiratory diseases. Whereas pulmonary rehabilitation is known to result in benefits in exercise capacity, symptoms and quality of life, these gains will not automatically translate into increases in physical activity. Therefore, the present study aims to investigate the effect of a physical activity coaching program on the physical activity level of patients with interstitial lung disease.
To Determine Safety and Tolerability of MG-S-2525 and to Evaluate Its PK Profile in Healthy Volunteers...
Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)This is a Phase I stage to investigate the safety and tolerability of MG-S-2525 in healthy volunteers. The proposed trial consists of 3 study parts to be conducted at Tri-Service General Hospital and includes Single Ascending Dose (SAD), Multiple Ascending Dose (MAD) and Food Effect parts. This study will enroll up to 16 evaluable subjects in the SAD part, 36 evaluable subjects in the MAD part and enroll up to 20 evaluable subjects for the Food Effect part.

Idiopathic Pulmonary FibrosisHypoxemiaAim of this study is to investigate the effects of an Oxymizer pendant nasal cannula in hypoxemic patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis during walking.
Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of NP-120 on Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and Its Associated...
Idiopathic Pulmonary FibrosisNP-120 (Ifenprodil) has been shown to mediate anti-inflammatory responses and reduce pulmonary fibrosis in a murine model of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). In addition, NP-120 significantly reduced both cough frequency and onset in a guinea pig tussive model. The purpose of this proof-of-concept trial is to determine the efficacy of NP-120 in the treatment of IPF and its associated cough.
