Surpass Flow Diverter for Intracranial Aneurysms: SURMOUNT Registry Data Collection

Cerebral Aneurysm

The purpose of this observational post-marketing registry will be to collect and analyze safety, effectiveness, and quality of life outcomes, during and after treatment with the Surpass Flow Diverter. Health Economics assessments (cost data) will also be collected and analyzed.

The WEB-IT Clinical Study

Wide Neck Bifurcation Intracranial AneurysmsIntracranial Aneurysms

The study is a prospective, multicenter single-arm cohort. Patients with wide neck bifurcation aneurysms (WNBAs) have few choices for safe and effective endovascular treatment. In this study, all patients with qualifying WNBAs will be treated with the WEB. The primary effectiveness outcome of the study is the likelihood of complete intracranial aneurysm occlusion on the 1 year angiogram as adjudicated by a core laboratory.

Study of Antiplatelet Therapy for Intracranial Aneurysm Stent-assisted Coiling

Embolic Stroke

Patients' responses to oral antiplatelet therapy are subject to variation. Bedside monitoring offers the opportunity to improve outcomes of intracranial aneurysm patients undergoing stent deployment by individualizing therapy. This trial is designed to demonstrate the superiority of a strategy of platelet function monitoring with dose adjustment in suboptimal responders as compared to a more conventional strategy without monitoring and without dose adjustment to reduce the primary end point evaluated 6 months after stent deployment in patients with intracranial aneurysms.

Efficacy Trial of Intracranial Aneurysm Treatment Using Two Different Endovascular Techniques

Intracranial Aneurysms

To date the standard non-surgical treatment strategy for treating un-ruptured intracranial aneurysms is the use of either coils or self-expandable stents. This post-market clinical investigation compares the efficacy of using the CE-marked, commercially available SILK Artery Reconstruction Device against commercially available intracranial coils in the endovascular treatment (occlusion) of intracranial aneurysms.

Rapid Ventricular Pacing in Surgical Treatment of Intracranial Aneurysms

Intracranial AneurysmSurgical Clip

Treatment of complex unruptured intracranial aneurysms (UIA) remains challenging to date. Therefore, advanced techniques are required to achieve an optimal result in treating these patients safely. In this study, the safety and efficacy of rapid ventricular pacing (RVP) to facilitate microsurgical clip-reconstruction has been studied prospectively in a joined neurosurgical, anesthesiological and cardiological study.
