The aim of this proposal is to investigate the effects of uneventful microsurgical and endovascular treatment of unruptured saccular non-giant anterior communicating artery [ACoA] aneurysms on resting state functional connectivity levels of higher order cognitive networks and to correlate the connectivity levels of these networks with neuropsychological performance and functional outcome. This study compares two treatment groups and one control group.

Pipeline TM embolization device launched to China in 2014, and has been widely used to treat large width IA. Therefore, it is necessary to collect and analysis the clinical data to evaluate effectiveness and safety of its usage in Chinese population, and this may guide the clinical practice and meet the clinical needs better.

The objective of this retrospective study is to describe in real-life settings the clinical practice, utilization and the treated population outcomes at 1-year (12-16 months) follow-up at selected, representative centers in France.

The pupilometer determines the alteration of the pupil diameter after a defined light stimulus. In this study data is collected from pupilometer measurements of patients with an acute cerebral disease. The measurements take place during daily neurological routine examinations. The values are compared to outcomes resulting from pupilometer measurements done on patients having not an acute cerebral disease (e.g. cerebral aneurysm without symptoms). The study aims to establish the not invasive method of pupillometry for detecting neurological degradations early.

Investigate the ability of the intra-operative, intra-aneurysmal flow evaluation to assist with the treatment of intracranial large aneurysms using Embolization Device(s)

The Chinese Cerebral Aneurysms Survey is a continuing prospective study to evaluate the effectiveness of unenhanced, three-dimensional time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography (3D-TOF-MRA) with volume rendering (VR) at 3-T in the detection of intracranial aneurysms.

This observational, retrospective, single-arm, multi-centre cohort study will use real-world data (RWD) to develop real-world evidence (RWE) of the safety and clinical effectiveness of the Pipeline™ Flex Embolization Device with Shield Technology™ in Australian patients that have received a flow diversion device to treat an intracranial aneurysm (IA). The medical records from 500 procedures completed at Gold Coast University Hospital in Queensland (QLD), Prince of Wales Hospital in New South Wales (NSW), and Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital in Western Australia (WA), will be analysed. The study will report the risk and likelihood of stroke (ischaemic and haemorrhagic), delayed neurological adverse events and incomplete aneurysm occlusion within sub-groups of the patient cohort and determine the predictive or confounding factors that influence clinical outcomes under pragmatic or 'real-world' conditions.

The purpose of this study is to examine the percentage of patients who present with abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) will also have intracranial aneurysms (IA) and conversely; to examine the percentage of patients who present with intracranial aneurysms will also have abdominal aortic aneurysms.
