Effect of External Counter Pulsation on Coronary Artery Disease

Stable Chronic AnginaCoronary Artery Disease

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is prevalent worldwide and the leading cause of mortality of citizens, external counter pulsation (ECP) has been elucidated that it may release angina symptoms and improve the prognosis of CAD, however, no multi-center control clinical study has been reported for further recommendation. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of ECP on CAD. To address this assumption, investigators enroll participants with stable CAD and randomize them into control or ECP group, the ECP intervention will be carried out with a standard protocol which involves 35 one-hour sessions (5 days a week) for continuous 7 weeks, and the follow-up will last for 1 year. The primary endpoint is the 1-year composite cardiovascular events (CCE), secondary endpoints include frequency of angina pectoris, heart function, biomarkers of arteriosclerosis, exercise tolerance and endothelial function.

Chronic Stable Angina Pectoris

This is a multi-center, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-group phase 3 clinical study to confirm the safety and efficacy of T89 in patients with stable angina pectoris, with an extended open-label period to evaluate the long-term safety of T89. This study includes three main periods: the first study period is a 3-week single-blind qualifying run-in period to screen eligible stable angina patients by exercise tolerance test (ETT). The second study period is a 8-week double-blind treatment period to evaluate the efficacy and safety of T89 in patients with stable angina by ETT. And, the last study period is a 44-week open-label period to observe long-term use safety of T89.

The main objective of the SENIOR study is to establish the efficacy and safety of the everolimus eluting stent with a biodegradable abluminal polymer (SYNERGY II) associated with a short dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) in patients ≥75 years old, suffering from stable angina, silent ischemia (1 month DAPT) or acute coronary syndromes (6 months DAPT) related to significant coronary artery disease and requiring percutaneous coronary intervention. The primary end point is to demonstrate that SYNERGY II in patients ≥75 years old is associated with a lower rate of the composite rate of major cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (all-cause death, myocardial infarction, stroke, ischemia-driven target lesion revascularization) and a similar risk of stent thrombosis than bare metal stent at one year.

Mechanism of Drug-drug Interaction Between Salvianolate Injection and Aspirin

The combination of anti-platelet medicine treatment and Chinese traditional medicine (TCM) promoting blood circulation to removing blood stasis is widely used in treatment for cardiovascular disease. However, the material foundation, effective mechanism and drug-drug interaction is still not clear. In order to solve the puzzle of rational use of Joint application by TCM and Western Medicine(WM),investigators conduct a research on mechanism of drug-drug interaction between salvianolate injection and aspirin based on metabolic enzyme and PK-PD model. This clinical trial contain three groups, aspirin group, salvianolate injection group and combination (salvianolate injection+aspirin) group. Investigators collect blood samples at special time points during post-administration.Investigators have already find out the Salvianolate's pharmacokinetic characteristics in vivo and establish the biological sample-testing analysis method in previous research. Depending on these results, this clinical trial aim to explore the pharmacodynamics-pharmacokinetics(PK-PD) characteristics of combination with Salvianolate and aspirin through biomarkers, blood concentration. Finally clarify the TCM and WM material basis and mutual mechanism of drug interaction and guide reasonable clinical prescription.

The Effect of Simvastatin Combined With Ezetimibe in Patients With Stable Angina and Diabetes

In this study, simvastatin combined with Ezeimebum was used to enhance lipid reduction, and IVUS was used to evaluate the volume and composition of coronary plaque before and after treatment. The aim is to evaluate the overall intervention effect of Ezeimebum on stable angina pectoris with diabetes mellitus on the basis of statins.
