A Study to Determine if There is a Possible Association Between NAION and Phosphodiesterase Type...
Nonarteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic NeuropathyStudy H6D-MC-LVHQ is an observational, non-interventional, multi-center, prospective, case-crossover study to evaluate the possible association between the use of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors and the risk of acute nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) in males. Subjects with newly diagnosed NAION will be asked via a structured questionnaire about their use of PDE5 inhibitors and other risk factors prior to the onset of their vision loss.
A Study to Assess Whether PDE5 Inhibitors Increase the Chance of Triggering the Onset of Acute NAION...
Optic NeuropathyIschemicThe objective of this non-interventional study is to examine whether use of Phosphodiesterase Inhibitors (PDE5s), including use of sildenafil, vardenafil, or tadalafil, triggers the onset of acute NAION.
Ischemic Optic Neuropathy Decompression Trial Followup (IONDT Followup)
Ischemic Optic NeuropathyTo follow all patients enrolled in the original Ischemic Optic Neuropathy Decompression Trial (IONDT) to determine (1) the incidence of non-arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) in the second eye, (2) changes in visual acuity over time in both the study and second eye, and (3) other aspects of the natural history of NAION.
