Longitudinal Study of the Clinical and Haematological Cause of Women With Antiphospholipid Antibodies....

Antiphospholipid Syndrome

This study is being done to see if there are any long term health related issues in women with APA and recurrent miscarriages.

Register of Patients With Anti-Phospholipids Syndrome (APS) and/or Systemic Lupus Erythematosus...

Anti-Phospholipids Syndrome (APS)Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)

The purpose of that register is to collect medical information about patients suffering of APS with or without associated SLE.

The Influence of Antiphospholipid Antibodies on the Relationship Between Hyperurecemia, Gout and...

Antiphospholipid SyndromeEndothelial Dysfunction3 more

Patients with hyperuricemia were confirmed to have higher risks of cardiovascular disease, but the exact mechanism remained to be elucidated. Many connective tissue diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis are often associated with antiphospholipid antibodies-associated endothelial impairment. In the present study, the investigators will analyze the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies in the serum of the patients with gout/asymptomatic hyperuricemia, with a comparison to the patients of osteoarthritis but without hyperuricemia and gout. The investigators expect to find a correlation between these pathogenic antibody and those cardiovascular co-morbidities.

The Value of Placental Vascularization and Placental Volume in Pregnancy in APLS

Antiphospholipid Syndrome in Pregnancy

Antiphospholipid antibodies are autoantibodies directed against phospholipid-binding proteins. Among these groups of antibodies, lupus anticoagulant (LA) and anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL)

Antiphospholipid Antibodies and Fetal Growth Restriction

Fetal Growth RestrictionAntiphospholipid Syndrome

The Antiphospholipid Syndrome is an immune disease where the presence of antibodies directed against cell membrane phospholipids (antiphospholipid antibodies) can cause an hypercoagulable state that causes thrombosis and obstetric complications (miscarriages, stillbirths). Since 1999 the Sapporo Criteria for Antiphospholipid Syndrome diagnosis includes the development of fetal growth restriction (diagnosed postpartum), but this was done without solid evidence of a relation between the two or using the most common form of fetal growth restriction diagnosis (ultrasound). Our study will try to add information to this particular point.

Preconceptional Thromboprophylaxis in Recurrent PREGNANCY LOSSES Caused by Antiphospholipid Syndrome...

Recurrent Pregnancy LossesPositive Anti Phospholipid Syndrome

Preconceptional use of low molecular weight heparin (enoxaparin) and aspirin in patient with recurrent miscarriages with positive anti phospholipid antibodies increase the implantation rate and the duration of pregnancy with low complications to the mother and the baby.

Antiphospholipid Antibodies and Early Severe Preeclampsia.

Severe PreeclampsiaAntiphospholipid Syndrome

The Antiphospholipid Syndrome is an immune disease where the presence of antibodies directed against cell membrane phospholipids (antiphospholipid antibodies) can cause an hypercoagulable state that causes thrombosis and obstetric complications (miscarriages, stillbirths). Since 1999 the Sapporo Criteria for Antiphospholipid Syndrome diagnosis includes the development of severe preeclampsia before 34 weeks of gestation, but this was done without solid evidence of a relation between the two. Our study will try to add information to this particular point.
