The purpose of this study is to evaluate a bundled intervention of psychotropic drugs and daily contact with a nurse for people with mental health disorders in a prayer camp and secondly to assess whether the attitudes of the prayer camp staff toward mental health disorders and conventional medicines remain the same after the intervention.

The objective is to test if Internet-delivered cognitive behavior therapy (iCBT) or Internet-delivered psychodynamic therapy (iPDT) performs better for a population with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), compared to a wait-list control condition.

If this trial demonstrates that MBRP promotes sustained abstinence and improved functional outcomes, this will provide a valuable treatment to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery for Veterans with SUDs.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether internet-administered cognitive behavior therapy is a feasible treatment for generalized anxiety disorder.

The purpose of this study is to examine the content of the treatment being delivered for anxiety disorders for children and adolescents in the regular outpatient clinics in western Norway. The study will also collect data before and after treatment to evaluate the result of the treatment. Furthermore, as part of the study we aim to collect normative data on two questionnaires used to identify anxiety symptoms and the extent to which anxiety interfere with daily functioning. We also aim to develop a quality indicator for anxiety treatment that can be used to monitor treatment in the regular outpatient service, based on the results of the current study.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the amount of anxiety and pain felt by children during procedures that require a needle stick after using a topical anesthetic or placebo cream.

The literature and our preliminary studies found that in COPD patients, psychosocial factors affect quality of life (QOL) and functioning more than would be expected given the severity of their disease. To improve QOL and functioning in the approximately 50% of COPD patients with significant anxiety and/or depressive symptoms, interventions are needed. Much research documents the utility of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in treating depression and anxiety, showing it to have promise as a self-management intervention to improve QOL in COPD patients.
