Ruptured thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm (TAAA) represents an emergency medical challenge that needs to be treated promptly. Over the past years different endovascular techniques have emerged such as fenestrated or branched endovascular aortic repair (FB-EVAR). However, FB-EVAR is a technique that uses a custom-made device which needs to be manufactured and this process take months, therefore, it could not be used in urgent settings. Off-the-shelf graft stents are pre-made graft stents, which can be used in urgent cases. A retrospective, multicenter cohort study was planned to include patients who underwent endovascular procedures between January 2015 and January 2022 (85 months) to evaluate the technical and survival outcomes of the use of off-the-shelf stent graft, physician-modified endograft and parallel graft technique in endovascular aortic repair of free and contained ruptured TAAA. Data will be collected anonymously and retrospectively, including patient demographics, risk factors, diagnosis and anatomical details, procedure details and post-operative outcomes.

Questions about the potentially genetic effects on sporadic TAAD are raised by researchers to explore the possible mechanisms leading to sporadic TAAD and to establish new clinical approaches to prevent TAAD-caused adverse clinical outcomes. This study is intended to collect the gene information in sporadic TAAD patients and to explore the relationship between genetic variation and the incidence of sporadic TAAD for further study.

The Valiant Thoracic Stent Graft has been preloaded on the new Captivia Delivery System (Captivia). This new delivery system was CE marked on September 14th, 2009 and was commercially released in the European Union on October 1st, 2009. The Valiant Thoracic Stent Graft with the Captivia Delivery System (Valiant Captivia) is designed to treat diseases of the descending thoracic aorta including but not limited to aneurysms and dissections. The purpose of the VALIANT CAPTIVIA Registry is to collect and evaluate mid term clinical performance data of the Valiant Captivia Thoracic Stent Graft System following OUS market approval.

The purpose of this study is to look at the systemic inflammatory response caused when patients undergo thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm repair (TAAA). In addition, this study will look at how the inflammatory response affects the post operative healing process and post operative complications.

The primary objectives of the study are to assess the contribution of alteration of each known gene on non-syndromic TAA. to map and identify unknown gene involved in the non-syndromic TAA.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of intra-operative TEE after the induction of anesthesia when assessing proximal thoracic aorta diameters in a cohort of aortic aneurysm patients.

Purpose of the study is the evaluation of the applicability of the percutaneous technique through double Proglide and Pre-Close Technique to the treatment of complex aortic aneurysms with thoracic endoprosthesis (TEVAR), fenestrated or branched (F / B-EVAR) in which patient-related factors, the devices used or the procedure, could affect the performance.

The aim of the study is to evaluate the outcomes of the preloaded stent-graft design (PLD) in the routine treatment of para-renal and thoraco-abdominal aneurysms. Results and postoperative events are reported in accordance with the current reporting standards for endovascular aortic repair prepared and revised by the Ad Hoc Committee for Standardized Reporting Practices in Vascular Surgery of The Society for Vascular Surgery/American Association for Vascular Surgery. The Registry will include approximately 300 patients treated from January 2015 to May 2021 (retrospective arm) and June 2021 to June 2023 (perspective arm) for the routine treatment of para-renal and thoraco-abdominal aneurysms. To reach 300 patients, the enrollments can be extended until June 2026.
