Graft Thrombosis After Endovascular Aortic Repair - a Single Center Experience With the Cook Zenith...
Aorta AneurysmThe purpose of this study is to assess the extent of thrombosis in the Zenith Alpha Spiral-Z® stent graft.
Additive Anti-inflammatory Action for Aortopathy & Arteriopathy
Aortic DissectionAortic AneurysmAortic disease refers to the blood in the aortic lumen entering the aortic mediastinum from the tear of the aortic intima, separating the mediastinum and extending along the long axis of the aorta to form the true and false separation state of the aortic wall. This disease is rare, and the incidence rate is 100 thousand to 200 thousand a year, with the peak age of 50-70 years old. 65%-70% patients died in the acute stage due to cardiac congestion and arrhythmia, so early diagnosis and treatment is very necessary. The aim of this study is analyze clinical outcome of Chinese patients with acute aortic syndrome and aortic aneurysm.
Prospective Aortic Biobank of POP-STAR
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Without RuptureAbdominal Aortic Aneurysm4 moreThe overall objective of the POP-STAR project is individualized surveillance for patients diagnosed with abdominal aortic aneurysms by means of more precise, patient-specific AAA growth prediction.
Comparison of Surveillance Versus Aortic Endografting for Small Aneurysm Repair
Aortic AneurysmAbdominal1 moreObjective of the present study is to compare endovascular repair versus surveillance and, eventually delay treatment in patients with small abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), with respect to patient survival, AAA rupture and AAA related death risks.
Long-term Benefit of Aortic Stent-graft in Patients With Distal Aortic Dissection
Aortic DissectionAortic Aneurysm1 moreBackground: Aortic stent-graft is useful to occlude intimal tear and prevent further dilatation of the false lumen in patients with aortic dissection. The long-term benefit of aortic stent-graft in patients with uncomplicated distal aortic dissection has not been well demonstrated, especially in patients at high risk of aneurysmal change and death. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to evaluate long-term clinical benefit of stent-graft insertion performed just after the acute phase into the descending thoracic aorta in patients with distal aortic dissection and at high risk of aneurysmal change of the dissected aorta.
The (PIVOTAL) Study
ABDOMINAL AORTIC ANEURYSMSThe purpose of this study is to compare endovascular repair using any FDA approved Medtronic AAA Stent Graft System versus surveillance in subjects with smaller abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA)(4-5CM), with respect to AAA rupture and AAA related deaths.

Abdominal Aortic AneurysmMale subjects, 65 years of age, living in Oslo, Norway will be invited to be screened for abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Detection of Hypoxia in Human Thoracic Aorta Using Pimonidazole Hydrochloride
Aortic AneurysmThoracicThis is a prospective study designed to determine the safety and value of Hypoxyprobe-1 (pimonidazole hydrochloride (-HCl)) to detect levels of tissue hypoxia in patients presenting with ascending aortic aneurysm.
