Venous Distension in Patients With Aneurysmatic Arterial Disease

Aortic AneurysmAbdominal5 more

The aim of the study is to assess if venous distension in patients with aneurysmatic arteriopathy is higher compared to patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD) and in controls.

Observatory of Screening Aneurysms of the Abdominal Aorta During Echocardiography. National Epidemiological...

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms

Study of the prevalence of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA) (> 3 cm) in patients with echocardiography (transthoracic or) during a specific day, with cardiologists in France. This is a cross-sectional epidemiological investigation, assembling evidence from a routine ultrasound screening for AAA at the waning of echocardiograms performed during a specific day. The study will be offered a list of centers selected by the Scientific Committee in the complete list of locations being in France, the subsidiary of echocardiography Echocardiography of French Society of Cardiology. These centers will be 500 in number representative of the French centers, geographically and by type of centers.

Contrast Ultrasound in the Surveillance of Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair

Endovascular Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair

The purpose of this study is to support the suspected expectation that Contrast enhanced Ultrasound (CUS) detects all endoleaks that have been detected by Computed Tomography (CT), and also find a number of leaks missed by CT. The investigators' primary goal is to detect no difference between CT and CUS and provide evidence that CUS is a possible alternative to CT.

Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring During Aortic Surgery

Aortic AneurysmThoracic

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate if the motor-evoked potentials/motor action potential amplitude ratio and motor action potential amplitude measurement are useful in detecting spinal cord ischemia during thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms surgery. The secondary objective is to evaluate the presence of a correlation between neurophysiological changes and other factors (such as surgical maneuvers, anesthetic and physiologic changes) in order to find which factor is the most important in determining spinal cord ischemia. This study is an observational, single-center, prospective study on patients with thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms undergoing surgical repair with intraoperative motor-evoked potentials and somatosensory evoked potentials monitoring.

Screening and Access to Health Care for Vascular Disease

Aortic AneurysmAbdominal2 more

This is a pilot study designed to validate our methods of recruitment, screening and data collection in the community. The project will help to establish the feasibility of the study design to lay the groundwork for a potentially larger study. The final study will allow us to estimate the incidence and prevalence of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), carotid artery stenosis, and peripheral artery disease (PAD) in different geographic areas in a large urban setting, as well as determine patient access to healthcare and treatment for vascular disease as related to geographic and racial differences.

Study of Abdominal Aortic Stent Grafts in the Treatment of Infrarenal Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms...

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

The Vascutek Anaconda™ Stent Graft System for repair of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA) is the subject of this observational study. 180 patients will be implanted with the Anaconda™ Stent Graft System and will be followed-up annually for 5 years post-implant. The study will satisfy the requirements of the French National Authority for Health (Haute Autorité de santé) and the data collected will be used for reimbursement renewal.

AneurysmAortic Aneurysm5 more

The purpose of this study is to assess the benefits of endovascular repair with Endurant Stent Graft System by documenting overall mortality, complications, the rate of conversion to open surgical repair, and the development and rupture of the aneurysm on a long term, i.e. at 5 years, in a cohort of patients representative of the population treated under real-life conditions of use in France.

Study on Susceptibility Genes and Pathogenic Mechanism of Non-syndromic Familial Aortic Dissection...

Aortic DissectionFamily Research3 more

Aortic dissection is dangerous and difficult to predict, so it is particularly important to carry out early prevention, diagnosis and rational treatment for high-risk groups. The related genes found in previous studies can not be detected in all patients with dissection; at present, the pathogenesis of non-syndromic aortic dissection is not clear, of which about 20% of patients have family aggregation and have the general representative characteristics of non-syndromic dissection. In this project, the peripheral blood samples of core family subjects were detected by sequencing technique. analyze disease-related susceptibility genes; 2 determine the effect of susceptibility genes on the incidence of dissection in mice through animal experiments; and 3 explore the effect of susceptibility genes on cell function at the cellular level.
