Validation of a Contactless Vital Signs Measurement Sensor

Sleep Apnea

The primary aim of this study is to validate the performance of Sleepiz One+ for the measurement of vital physiological parameters in adult population, against a laboratory-based polysomnography. Additionally, the investigators will evaluate Sleepiz One+ ability to identify patients with a high risk of suffering from a sleep-related breathing disorder based on apnea-hypopnea index estimation. Participants will undergo measurement with Sleepiz One+ and a polysomnography device while resting in bed for 20 min as well as during sleep for the duration of the following night.

Prevalence of Pharyngolaryngeal Reflux in Patients Treated for Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome...

Obstructive Sleep ApneaReflux1 more

The aim of the study is to find, using validated and efficient tools, a laryngopharyngeal reflux in patients receiving polysomnography for suspected obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. It is proposed to carry out simultaneously, at the Sleep Center of the Polyclinique of Poitiers (CSPP), a polysomnography, a 24-hour Restech pharyngeal pH-metry (day and night), a Peptest (in the evening and in the morning of the polysomnography), with the RSS-12 questionnaire and the RSA score.

Evaluation of Swallowing in Patients With Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Sleep ApneaObstructive

The purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis that obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is associated with deviant pharyngeal swallowing function, using clinical, endoscopical and manometric evaluation.

Autoset T Versus CPAP Therapy, a Comparison of Titration and Therapy

Sleep Apnea Syndromes

Part 1.Comparison of manual pressure titration in laboratory of sleep disorders with Autoset T APAP device from Resmed. Hypothesis: There is no difference in efficiency between manual and automatical titration. Part 2. Comparison of CPAP and APAP therapy in the home while 3 month by Questionaire and device data. Hypothesis: There is a difference in compliance and efficiency between CPAP and APAP mode.

Comparison of 2 Different Hook-up Protocols to Perform Home-based Polysomnography

Sleep Disordered-breathing

Comparison of 2 hook-up protocols to perform home-based sleep studies in patients suspected of sleep-disordered breathing. First one: hook-up is performed in the hospital, around 4 PM, and the patient go home with the portable monitoring. Second one: hook-up is performed home, around 7 PM, and the patient has not to move after hook-up.

Bedside Sleep Medicine

Sleep DisordersSleep Apnea2 more

The investigators aimed to evaluated the role of bedside sleep medicine in an cardiology intensive care unit. The patients will be submitted to a overnight polysomnography. Those individuals with sleep apnea will be treated with CPAP during the ICU admission. Also, the investigators will identify the factors that compromise the sleep and will act to minimize them to improve the sleep quality. After the interventions, the investigators will evaluate if there are reduced days of hospital admission, major cardiovascular events (infarction, reinfarction, heart failure and stroke) and overall mortality.

Obesity and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in Children

Obstructive Sleep ApneaObesity

The goal of this research is to study the prevalence of sleep disordered breathing and associated morbidity in obese children and to examine the role of diet and physical activity in the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing in obese children.
