The aim of the present study is to influence the central and obstructive sleep apnoea in patients with severe mitral insufficiency by an interventional MitraClip examination to evaluate.

The primary objective of this study is to determine whether baseline DOC screening can add to clinical and demographic data to predict the occurrence of a composite negative outcome (any of: recurrent stroke, myocardial infarction, death, or admission to a long-term care (LTC) / complex continuing care (CCC) facility) within one year of screening, in stroke prevention clinic patients.

Prevalence of sleep-related breath disturbance in patients in cardiac rehabilitation. The aim of the register is to enable a better diagnosis and early treatment initiation in the context of secondary prevention. In addition to the prevalence, the further course of the patients shall be documented after hospital discharge to verify any gaps (sleep laboratory, therapy introduction) and emphasize the importance of rehabilitation and to examine the possibility of initiating therapy in rehabilitation.

In this observational study patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) will be screened for sleep apnea (SA) to investigate if SA is associated with impaired blood pressure control and worse clinical outcome early after SAH.

Subjects referred to a sleep clinic had polysomnography (PSG), clinic BP measurements, 24-hour ABP monitoring and HBP monitoring using a device (Microlife WatchBP HomeN) that allows daytime (3 days, 2 duplicate readings/day) and automated nighttime BP measurement (3 nights, 3 readings/night).

The investigators intend to study the prevalence of obstructive apnea in patients submitted to partial laryngectomy by larynx cancer. Volunteers will be evaluated using polissonografy. We will try to correlate the residual glotic area with the number of apneas per hour.

The purpose of this study is to determine the double loop index (DLI) threshold with optimal sensitivity and specificity. The investigators hypothesize that the DLI gives a better reflection of the pathophysiology of the disease than the apnea-hypopnea-index (AHI).
