IRIS-Synergy Cohort in the IRIS-DES Registry
Coronary Artery DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the relative effectiveness and safety of Synergy stent compared to other drug eluting stents.
BIOTRONIKS - Safety and Performance in de NOvo Lesion of NatiVE Coronary Arteries With Magmaris-...
Coronary Artery DiseaseThe registry will investigate the clinical performance and long-term safety of Magmaris in a real world setting
Stem Cell Implantation in Patients Undergoing CABG
Ischemic CardiomyopathyCoronary Artery DiseaseThe primary objective of this study is to demonstrate the feasibility and safety of intra-operative, intra-myocardial injection of autologous CD133 positive bone marrow cells at the time of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery in patients with chronic ischemic cardiomyopathy. Additionally, the feasibility of producing autologous CD133+ bone marrow stem cells will be assessed. The investigators hypothesize that collection of a sufficient number of CD133+ cells through bone marrow aspiration prior to surgery, with subsequent processing and intra-myocardial injection of high purity cells following completion of CABG, will be feasible without significant adverse clinical consequences.
Study Comparing Ticagrelor With Aspirin for Prevention of Vascular Events in Patients Undergoing...
Coronary Artery DiseaseStable Angina1 moreThe primary objective of this study ist to test the hypothesis that ticagrelor is superior to Aspirin (ASA) fort he prevention of major cardio- and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) in patients undergoing artery bypass operation. The primary efficiacy MACCE-endpoint is the composite of cardiovascular death, myocardial infarction, recurent revascularisation, and stroke at twelve month after coronary artery bypass operation.
Drug-Eluting Stenting Followed by Cilostazol tREAtment Reduces SErious Adverse Cardiac Events (DECREASE-PCI)...
Coronary Artery DiseaseThe DECREASE-PCI trial is a prospective, randomized, placebo controlled, double-blind, phase 4 study to evaluate efficacy and safety of triple anti-platelet therapy compared with dual antiplatelet therapy in patients treated with DES for Coronary Artery Disease. The primary objective of this study is to compare the safety and efficacy of triple antiplatelet therapy versus dual (standard) antiplatelet therapy in patients treated with drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation for the treatment of coronary artery disease.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea Treatment to Improve Cardiac Rehabilitation
Obstructive Sleep ApneaCoronary Heart DiseaseThis is a randomized clinical trial in U.S. Veterans to evaluate the impact of treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) on the effectiveness of cardiac rehabilitation, including impact on exercise capacity, disability, and quality of life.
Efficacy and Safety of Ad5FGF-4 for Myocardial Ischemia in Patients With Stable Angina Due to Coronary...
AnginaStableThe purpose of this study is to determine whether a single intracoronary infusion of Ad5FGF-4, delivered during induced transient ischemia, is effective in improving myocardial perfusion, angina functional class, patient symptoms, and quality of life. Short-term (8 weeks) and long-term (12 month) safety of Ad5FGF-4 will also be evaluated. The primary endpoint is change in adenosine triphosphate (ATP) stress SPECT reperfusion defect size.
METHOD - Bone Marrow Derived Mononuclear Cells in Chronic Ischemic Disease
Chronic Ischemic Heart DiseaseIntramyocardial, NOGA guided injection of bone marrow derived mononuclear cells in patients with chronic ischemic heart disease and LVEF < 40%. The primary objective is to determine whether the administration of the cells improves recovery of the left ventricular function. Secondary objective is the finding of clinical or paraclinical parameters to predict potential benefits of the treatment (basing on MRI characteristics such as size, transmurality of the myocardial infarction and peri-lesional ischemia). In the first part of the study 10 patients are treated without control group. This phase serves as feasibility and safety part of the study.
Vitamin D Supplementation in CAD and Postchallenge Hyperglycemia
Coronary Artery DiseasePostprandial Hyperglycemia1 moreThe main aim of the investigation is to clarify, whether vitamin D supplementation in coronary artery disease patients with vitamin D deficiency and postchallenge hyperglycemia has an impact on endothelial dysfunction and parameters of insulin sensitivity and beta-cell function.
Complete Infarct Related Artery Revascularization
Myocardial InfarctionCoronary Artery DiseaseCORAMI trial is a prospective, international, multicenter randomized study which will be performed in experienced invasive facility centres with 24/7 PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) duty and patient enrollment will continue for 18 months (October 2010 - March 2012).The aim of the study is to compare strategy of complete vs target lesion-only primary PCI in IRA (infarct related artery) in STEMI (ST elevation myocardial infarction) patients.
