The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of onercept, to be administered as 150 milligram (mg) three times a week, compared to matching placebo, for the induction of remission in subjects with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

Rheumatoid ArthritisPsoriatic Arthritis5 moreGÖTHA- The early arthritis and psoriasis study of Region Västra Götaland, Sweden - is a longitudinal observational study, which will prospectively and in parallel follow patients with newly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis (RA, N=1000), psoriatic arthritis (PsA, N=500) and undifferentiated arthritis (N=100), together with patients with psoriasis (N=500). The study will also recruit healthy controls from the general population (N=3000). The aims of the study are to define predictors for disease course and severity, treatment response, comorbidities, health related quality of life (HRQoL) and health economy. The study is a collaboration between the department of Rheumatology and the department of Dermatology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, and the departments of Rheumatology at the hospitals of Alingsås, Borås, Uddevalla and Skövde, in the west of Sweden. All patients with newly diagnosed RA, PsA and undifferentiated arthritis at the Rheumatology centers are eligible for inclusion. Patients with psoriasis will be recruited from the Department of dermatology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. The patients will be examined at baseline and at one, three, five and ten years. The assessments will include physical examination with evaluation of joints, entheses and skin and validated questionnaires regarding medical history, comorbidities, lifestyle, disease activity, bodily function, socioeconomic factors and HRQoL. Blood samples will be collected. The patients with arthritis will also undergo radiography of the lung, hands and feet, and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) of hands and feet.

Impact of Air Pollution on the Course of Inflammatory Rheumatism
Rheumatoid ArthritisAnkylosing Spondylitis1 moreThe objective of this study is to see if there is a link between air pollution and inflammatory rheumatism (rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis) To do this, the investigators are going to follow a cohort of about 200-400 patients for 6 months by means of a self-questionnaire, which the investigators ask the patient to fill in once a week on a fixed day, and opposite the corresponding week to put the letter corresponding to the question concerning the activity of your disease: 3 possible answers: A: no flare-up, B: short flare-up of 1 to 3 days, C: persistent flare-up of more than 3 days Then the investigators will collect the questionnaire at the end of these 6 months and at each visit to the consultation or day hospital (on average every 4 to 6 weeks), and they will look to see if any relapses have occurred. At the same time the investigators will calculate the disease activity score (DAS or BASDAI) to have an objective score. Then in parallel they will look at the level of exposure to air pollution according to the place of residence and work of each patient. The hypothesis is that air pollution has an influence on the activity of inflammatory rheumatism.

Psoriatic ArthritisThis study was designed to leverage the sensitivity of ultrasonography available in clinical practice setting to better describe the time course of response to secukinumab (150 mg and 300 mg) on joint synovitis and enthesitis in PsA patients with an inadequate response to non-biologic DMARDs. PDUS changes in joint synovitis will be assessed using the global Outcome Measures in Rheumatology (OMERACT)-European League against Rheumatism (EULAR) synovitis score (GLOESS) and changes in joint enthesitis were assessed using the OMERACT enthesitis score.

A Study to Assess Efficacy and Safety of Filgotinib in Active Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriatic ArthritisThis is a multicenter, Phase 2, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in subjects with moderately to severely active Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) who have an inadequate response or are intolerant to conventional disease-modifying therapy. A total of approximately 124 subjects will be randomized to one of 2 treatment arms in a 1:1 ratio: oral filgotinib tablets q.d. or matching placebo tablets q.d. The Screening visit will occur within 28 days before study drug administration. At Day 1 (Baseline), eligible subjects will be randomized to treatment for a duration of 16 weeks. The study is concluded with a Follow-up period lasting until 4 weeks after the last dose. Consequently, each subject will stay in the study for a maximum of 24 weeks (from Screening visit to Follow-up visit).
