A Retrospective Chart Review of MabThera (Rituximab) Treatment in Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Participants...

Rheumatoid Arthritis

This is a cross-sectional, observational study examining the factors leading to the therapeutic decision to use MabThera (rituximab) in participants with RA. Routine rheumatology clinical practice data of participants who are being or have been treated with rituximab for RA will be collected and analysed in this chart review.

Gene Expression Profiling in PBMCs as a Tool for Prediction of Anakinra Responsiveness in Rheumatoid...

Rheumatoid Arthritis

The objective of the study is to identify and validate predictive markers of anakinra responsiveness in RA patients by a transcriptomic approach. Patients with active RA (ACR criteria) were given subcutaneous anakinra (100mg/d) 3 associated with metotrexate. Anakinra efficacy was evaluated at week 12, using the EULAR response criteria. A blood sample was collected just before the onset of anakinra treatment and total RNAs were extracted from the peripheral blood mononuclear cells. The [33P] radiolabeled mRNAs were hybridized (duplicate or triplicate) over a set of 10.000 human cDNA probes spotted at a high density on nylon membranes. Data were normalized and filtered to allow the comparison between RNA samples. Statistical analyses were performed with the R software and hierarchical clustering was performed with the Cluster and Tree View softwares.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (DMARD) Intervention and UtilizationStudy

Rheumatoid Arthritis

The Rheumatoid Arthritis DMARD Intervention and Utilization Study (RADIUS 1) is designed to systematically collect and document use patterns, effectiveness, and safety of DMARD treatments currently used in the management of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It is anticipated that study data may help improve the quality of information upon which clinical decisions are based.

T and B Cell Responses in Autoimmune Diseases

Type 1 Diabetes MellitusMultiple Sclerosis4 more

The study aims to establish whether defects in immune cell function are shared across multiple autoimmune diseases and whether those problems match to similar genes in the cells.

RABIOPRED - a Validation Study of Theranostic Test to PREDict Treatment Response of Anti-TNFα BIologicals...

RheumatoId Arthritis

RABIOPRED is an in vitro non-invasive blood test, which aims to identify patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who are not likely to respond to anti-TNFα and methotrexate combination therapy.

Bone MicroArchitecture Abatacept (BMA2)

ArthritisRheumatoid

Rheumatoid Arthritis patients management reposes primarily on the use of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). Among DMARDs available in 2015, researchers demonstrated the ability to reduce synovitis, biomarkers of inflammation, and bone destruction. Given the demonstration of correlation between joint inflammation and structural progression at each joint level as well as the opportunity for bone remodeling with resolution of joint inflammation, researchers expect to observe an improvement in bone micro-architecture parameters specifically in rheumatoid arthritis patients without remaining joint inflammation 3 months following abatacept treatment initiation.

Validation Study of RA-INF-Dx, a Multigene Molecular Test Used to Predict Non-Response to INfliximab...

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Study Design & Objectives: Multi-centre, non-interventional, open-label, non-comparative, prospective cohort study with a clinical follow-up between 12 and 14 weeks. To determine the performances of the RA-INF-Dx blood test intended to aid in the identification of patients with rheumatoid arthritis who are unlikely to show an initial response to infliximab and methotrexate combination therapy evaluated according to EULAR response criteria. Ancillary study objective: To constitute a biocollection of samples associated with all clinical and biological data collected at inclusion and at the evaluation visit.

A Study to Evaluate the RNA Signature of Rheumatoid Arthritis From Synovium and Whole Blood

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic disease, it is not clear whether the gene expression profile exhibited by circulated peripheral blood cells and that expressed by the inflamed synovium mirror one another. Understanding this relationship would be useful not only in potentially having a relatively non-invasive means to predict response to therapy but it might be useful in better understanding differences in RA expression amongst patients with this disease, thus perhaps assisting in target identification through a better understanding of disease processes.
