To compare retention rates of adalimumab, etanercept and infliximab as first-line biotherapy in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), to determine causes of discontinuation, retention-associated factors, and retention rates of possible second-line tumor necrosis factor α inhibitors (TNFi).

People affected by rheumatoid arthritis are often suffering from fatigue and decreased QOL. In this study we are measuring the impact of SC biologics on these parameters.

The primary objective of this study was to validate the ability of an 8-gene biomarker set to differentiate between participants who met or did not meet European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) Disease Activity Score (DAS)-28 Good Response criteria after treatment with anti-Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) therapy for 14 weeks in approximately 200 anti-TNF-naïve participants. The secondary objectives of this study was (i) to compare the behavior of the 8-gene marker set in participants who were anti-TNF naïve versus those who began their second anti-TNF treatment , (ii) to develop, maintain, and utilize a biorepository of serum, plasma, RNA, and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) samples for additional experiments and analyses and (iii) to discover novel genetic (DNA) predictors of response to anti-TNF therapy.

The purpose of this study is to assess whether or not adalimumab (Humira®) can influence pain medication in participants with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and ankylosing spondylitis (AS) with or without comorbidities, which do not constitute a contraindication for adalimumab as stated in the released summary of product characteristics. Therefore it shall be evaluated if pain medication which is used in these participants is changed, reduced or stopped due to adalimumab treatment.

Observational registry to assess the longer-term risk of serious infections and malignancies reported with TNFα-blocker therapy, as well as the longer-term risk of cardiovascular and thromboembolic events in adult Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) patients treated with Cimzia® as compared to non-biologic DMARD-treated controls.

The purpose of this study is to describe infliximab and abatacept dosing patterns (i.e., dosing amount and frequency) and costs among a population of managed care enrollees with RA. This study will also identify changes in infliximab and abatacept dosing over time and the implication these changes may have on the costs of medication administration.
