: GREFFE_ELASTO IRM will evaluate Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE) in renal transplant patients with suspected interstitial fibrosis/tubular atrophy lesions requiring biopsy graft sampling under ultrasound control. The main objective is to search a correlation between renal graft parenchymal elasticity values obtained in vivo by MRE, and the histological data of renal fibrosis by biopsy sampling, and providing a non-invasive tool capable of detecting and monitoring this development over time, making possible in the future to reduce the number of renal biopsies.

The purpose of this study is to confirm the efficacy of intravaginal prasterone (DHEA) on moderate to severe (MS) and most bothersome symptoms (MBS) of vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA) due to natural, surgical or treatment-induced menopause, in women with breast cancer who are under treatment with an aromatase inhibitor.

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CNTO 2476 cells administered into the subretinal space by the suprachoroidal surgical approach and the subretinal access kit (SRAK-02) in participants with visual acuity impairment associated with Geographic Atrophy (GA) secondary to Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD).

Patients with advanced dry AMD with GA meeting inclusion criteria will be randomized in one eye in a 1:1:1 ratio comparing intravitreal high or low dose AAVCAGsCD59 with a sham injection. All enrolled subjects will be followed for 24 months to evaluate reduction in GA growth and safety of intravitreal AAVCAGsCD59.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of one week of knee-joint immobilization on muscle size, strength, neuromuscular function, and brain function. In addition, the effects of two different interventions (i.e., neuromuscular electrical stimulation and action observation/mental imagery) throughout immobilization will be determined. Following the immobilization period, participants that have lost strength will be rehabilitated with twice weekly resistance training sessions, and sex-based differences in rehabilitation timelines will be examined.

Menopause is a physiological event and is defined as the loss of ovarian follicular activity, with consequent permanent cessation of menstrual cycles. Its diagnosis is made retrospectively after 12 months of amenorrhea, with no pathological cause involved. This period is marked by several changes in the female organism, mainly the genitourinary syndrome (GUS), which is a collection of signs and symptoms resulting from the state of hypoestrogenism. Almost half of postmenopausal women will experience symptoms of GUS, with vaginal dryness being the most prevalent, followed by dyspareunia and vulvovaginal irritation. The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of photobiomodulation with red LED (ligth emitting diode) on the symptoms of vulvovaginal atrophy in postmenopausal women. A randomized and controlled clinical trial will be developed, which will include postmenopausal women with signs and symptoms of vulvovaginal atrophy. Participants will be allocated into two groups: those who will undergo photobiomodulation with intravaginal LED, and those who will receive vaginal cream with estriol. Objective and subjective improvement of atrophy will be assessed using the Vaginal Health Index and the visual analog scale, respectively. Vaginal pH, cell maturation index and changes in sexual function through the Female Sexual Function Index questionnaire will also be assessed. The variables will be analyzed at the time of admission, in one and three months after the intervention.

This study is a prospective, double-blinded, randomized control trial examining the effect of blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy on reducing post-operative quadriceps atrophy in patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). Following ACLR, patients will undergo a rehabilitation protocol either w/ BFR therapy or sham BFR therapy.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether ambulatory polygraphy during a short hospitalization in a neurology unit has the same performance than inpatient polysomnography, the actual gold standard, in the diagnosis of sleep apnea in patients suffering from multiple system atrophy (MSA).
