ADNP, also known as Activity Dependent Neuroprotective Protein, is a rare neurodevelopmental disorder caused by mutations encompassing the ADNP gene on chromosome 20. Clinically, ADNP syndrome is characterized by intellectual disability and global developmental delay. This study seeks to characterize ADNP-related neurodevelopmental disorders using a number of genetic, medical and neuropsychological measures.

To address the dual needs of parents for support in navigating Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) services and maintaining positive family functioning, the investigators propose to test Autism Parent Navigators (APN), an innovative in-home, peer support model for parents with a young child recently diagnosed with ASD.

The investigators will recruit 30 children and adolescents (15 per group x 2 groups) aged 6 to 17 years with ASD and significant repetitive behaviors that cause problems to them and to others around them. Subjects will be randomized to either amitriptyline (AMI), dosed flexibly according to response and tolerability with a maximum dose of 100mg per day or 1.5mg/kg/day, in divided doses to minimize side effects, or placebo in look-alike capsules, for 10 weeks. Rating scales will be used to measure outcomes.

The project is a prospective study designed to characterize behaviour and its psycho-physiological correlates of participants with ASD (children and adults) in comparison with subjects without ASD matched in age during blood test in common practice.

The goal of this study is to evaluate the impact of a parental coaching based on E-Learning (EL), intended for parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Population: parents of young children (2 to 4 years old) with an ASD diagnosis. The main questions that our study will answer are: Has parental coaching via E-Learning a significant impact compared to no coaching? If so, is that impact comparable to standard parental coaching such as PACT? The impact will be evaluated in three domains: Child development: behavior, sleep, eating behavior Parental competences: stress, coping, feeling of parental competencies Parent-child interaction: communication, visual attention The investigators will compare 3 groups: ASD children whose parents will follow a parental coaching via E-learning, ASD children whose parents will follow a standard parental coaching (PACT) ASD children whose parents will not follow any specific coaching program

The goal of this clinical study is to learn about the utility and performance of the EarliPoint System (™): Evaluation for Autism Spectrum Disorder to diagnose and assess autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children ages 31-84 month (2.5 - 7 years chronological age). The main questions it aims to answer are: To determine the sensitivity and specificity of the EarliPoint device (test) compared to Expert Clinician Diagnosis (ECD) using gold-standard clinical reference assessments in the target age-expanded population. To determine the association between the EarliPoint Verbal Ability Index score and the clinical measures of verbal ability as measured by the Differential Ability Scales (DAS-II). To determine the association between the EarliPoint Nonverbal Ability Index score and the clinical measures of non-verbal abilities as measured by the Differential Ability Scales (DAS-II). To determine the association between the EarliPoint Social Disability Index score and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, second edition (ADOS-II) Overall Total Score. To determine the association between the EarliPoint Expressive Language Ability Index score and the clinical measures of verbal ability as measured by the Differential Ability Scales (DAS-II). To determine the association between the EarliPoint Receptive Language Ability Index score and the clinical measures of verbal ability as measured by the Differential Ability Scales (DAS-II). To estimate the incidence of adverse device effects associated with the use of the EarliPoint device.

This study aims to compare two FDA approved medications (aripiprazole and risperidone) for the treatment of behavioral dysregulation in children with autism spectrum disorders. This trial, done in the context of routine clinical care, will seek to evaluate whether aripiprazole or risperidone is associated with more weight gain in children.

The purpose of this research study is to find out if a training program for parents with military dependent or connected children with autism (ASD) who have challenging behavior will help those children and their families participate in more community activities. The training program, called Parenting with Positive Behavior Interventions, may help military parents learn new tools that will help their children with autism and challenging behavior attend community activities more easily.

School-based behavioral approaches to managing challenging behaviors in children with ASD are limited by three key factors: 1) children with ASD often have difficulties communicating their emotions; 2) it is challenging to implement evidence-based, personalized strategies for individual children, and; 3) it is difficult for teachers to track which strategies are successful for individual children. The investigators' personalized mobile-health emotion regulation application (m-health app) will pair heart rate tracking with digital tools to help reduce challenging behavior by supporting stress detection, reminding teachers of specific behavioral strategies and helping teachers to track progress.

The main objective of this exploratory 8-week pilot study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of buspirone for the treatment of anxiety in youth (ages 6-17 years) with autism spectrum disorders. The study results will be used to generate hypotheses for a larger randomized-controlled trial with explicit hypotheses and sufficient statistical power.
