In this study, the investigators are trying to find new ways to screen for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in young children. The investigators want to see if people like pediatricians can screen children for ASD while a psychologist watches on a monitor. The investigators are testing two screening tools. The investigators want to see if they are good at identifying children with ASD and children without ASD. The investigators hope this research will make it easier for families to get answers when there are concerns for ASD.

The aim of this study is to determine whether the use of virtual reality glasses showing an immersive video simulation of the dental visit will help decrease anxiety at future appointments by decreasing the element of surprise and increasing the patient's familiarity and comfort level with a specific dental practice environment.

When a clinician gives an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis they hope this will be helpful to the person receiving it and their family. In reality children with an ASD describe few benefits to receiving this diagnosis - they often report feeling confused and stigmatised by it. Parents can also struggle to understand their child's diagnosis and report needing greater support from professionals in this respect (Midence & O'neill, 1999; Osborne & Reed, 2008). Little is known about how to help children and families integrate their ASC 'label' in a positive way. Whilst there is anecdotal evidence that psychoeducation after diagnosis can help, there has been no formal evaluation of this approach and no evidence-based programmes of this type are available. In the current study the investigators aim to test empirically a psychoeducational programme for children with an ASD ('PEGASUS'), using a randomised controlled design. The investigators aim to evaluate whether this psychological and educational intervention impacts positively upon understanding of ASC, self-esteem, functional adaption, well-being and family functioning.

The aim of the study is to determine whether a targeted behavioral intervention can lead to both changes in early communication skills and in neural responses in toddlers and preschoolers with autism.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the plasticity of autologous intrathecal hematopoietic cells would improve the neurologic and the social skills of pediatric patients with autism spectrum disorders.

One suitable probiotic packet will be administered to one group and placebo to another group of autism children and improvement in CARS will be monitored

The diagnosis of developmental disorders in adults is still difficult. Indeed, in France, there is not questionnaires to easily and accurately diagnose this disorder. Several diagnostic scales were developed in English. Among them, RAADS-R scale, which is a clinical tool that aims to better identify autism spectrum disorders including mild forms in adult people and help to diagnose of high-functioning autism . The objective of this study is to perform a complete validation of this scale in the french version.

Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder which involves social and behavioural impairments. Autonomic dysfunctions and disturbed sleep were often associated to ASD. The investigators proposed to explore the impact of physical activity on these disorders. In this context, it is necessary to characterize the cardiorespiratory capacities of ASD children in order to promote physical activity for this population. To examine potential differences between ASD and control children, some explorations were proposed: a maximal treadmill test, motor evaluation, and orthostatic test (for the evaluation of autonomic nervous system). An actimetry during one week (evaluation of physical activity and sleep) completed this study in order to specify sleep characteristic and established the possible link between physical activity sleep characteristics and physical fitness in ASD children.
