Genetic Analysis for Predicting of Relapse During Steroid Treatment for Autoimmune Pancreatitis...

Pancreatitis

To determine whether certain alleles or haplotypes of major histocompatibility complex gene are associated with AIP in Korean population, we undertook this study with high-resolution typing for HLA (sequence-based typing). Primary outcomes: detection of novel allele associated with AIP in Korean population Secondary outcomes: detection of genetic factor for relapse of AIP during steroid treatment

EUS-guided Procore-biopsy in Diagnosing Autoimmune Pancreatitis

Autoimmune Pancreatitis

The goal of this prospective study is to evaluate the feasibility of the Core Biopsy Needle with reverse bevel (Procore TM) in diagnosing autoimmune pancretitis

CT Pancreas Perfusion

Pancreatic Ductal AdenocarcinomaChronic Pancreatitis1 more

Pancreatic CT perfusion with a biofeedback breathing belt worn by the participant, and using novel post-processing techniques, is a reliable method which can be used to differentiate between pancreatic cancer, chronic pancreatitis, and autoimmune pancreatitis. Pancreatic CT perfusion can be used to monitor patients undergoing decompression treatment (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography with stent placement) for painful chronic pancreatitis, and the change in the pancreatic perfusion parameters correlate with the change in the pain parameters (pain scale and analgesic use). Pancreatic CT perfusion parameters can be calculated using surrogate scan data sets at specific time points to replace the continuous scanning.

Pancreatic CarcinomaPancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor2 more

Study objective: To describe the microflora characteristics of the pancreatic solid lesions via the tissue acquired via the endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration/biopsy (EUS-FNA/B). Study design: This is a prospective observational study.

A Real-world Comparison of FNB and FNA in IHC-required Lesions.

Neuroendocrine TumorsAutoimmune Pancreatitis1 more

Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided fine needles with side fenestrations are used to collect aspirates for cytology analysis and biopsy samples for histologic analysis. The investigators conducted a large, multicenter study to compare the accuracy of diagnosis via specimens collected with fine-needle biopsy (FNB) versus fine-needle aspiration (FNA) for patients with lesions requiring immunohistochemistry (IHC) pathological diagnosis.

Prospective Study on the Role of Eus-fnb in the Diagnosis of Autoimmune Pancreatitis

Autoimmune Pancreatitis

According to the reported histological procurement yield of the end-cutting needles, the investigators supposed that the use of EUS-FNB in probable AIP patients, generally aimed only to rule-out malignancy, could provide histological tissue samples useful in enhancing the diagnostic level reached without histology, or defining the type of AIP.
