The present study proposes to evaluate the impact of a multidisciplinary biopsychosocial Telecare rehabilitation program at the functional level in people with chronic low back pain with major psycho-behavior maintenance. The hypothesis is that a personalized program combining remote psycho-professional and physical care by digital tools improves functional evaluation in these patients.

A randomized control trial will be conducted, for evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of a lower back assistive exoskeleton on the caregivers working in nursing homes.

Discogenic LBP is the leading cause of disability worldwide. Eventhough other types of Chronic LBP are more common, 63% of all patients reporting to tertiary care hospital with LBP are discogenic in nature. However, immediate effects of kinesio-taping on pain and postural stability in discogenic low back pain has not been well documented in existing literature. This study is focused on immediate effects of kinesiotaping on pain and postural stability in persons with discogenic low back pain.

Aim: The primary aim of this project is to identify the fear-avoidance beliefs and attitudes of primary care physicians and nurses towards the treatment of chronic nonspecific low back pain to subsequently develop a biopsychosocial educational tool using a web platform. The secondary aim of this project is to evaluate the effectiveness of this educational intervention about pain neurophysiology and fear-avoidance beliefs, using a web platform for primary care physicians and nurses. Methods: Exploratory sequential mixed method design. For the qualitative phase of this study, researchers will use personal semistructured interviews. For the quantitative phase the authors will use an experimental study design. Subjects: medical and nursing staff working in primary care centers in the city of Lleida, Spain. Expected outcomes: the authors expect to change and modify wrong beliefs and attitudes about chronic low back pain of physicians and nurses working in primary care settings, using a web-based educational tool with the additional result of increasing knowledge on pain neurophysiology and reducing fear-avoidance beliefs.

Low back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide, the prevalence of low back pain can be as high as 43%. Past research has shown the positive effects of Kinesio taping in patients with chronic and nonspecific low back pain in pain reduction, improvement in postural stability, and improvement in function. However, no study has yet evaluated the effects of KT in persons with discogenic LBP. If found to be effective KT can be prescribed as a conservative & cost-effective treatment for patients with discogenic low back pain.

It is stated that abnormal lower extremity posture and biomechanics are effective in the development and progression of Low Back Pain (LBP). Exercise, electrotherapy, insoles, and orthoses are used for the prevention and treatment of low back pain.The use of orthosis, insoles, and taping techniques stands out in the correction of foot posture and dysfunctions, which are stated to cause LBP. In studies examining the application of taping to improve foot posture and biomechanics, it is stated that taping is effective in improving foot posture and biomechanics in the short term. Biomechanical taping has been used in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders in recent years. It is aimed to correct the impaired joint biomechanics by reducing the load on the joint, supporting strength, and providing movement modification.

The purpose of this study is to assess the effect of a general training program and educational session to prevent neck and/or low back pain in desktop workers

INTRODUCTION: Chronic low back pain (CLBD) is one of the major public health problems in the world. Given the complexity of the situation, complementary and alternative practices such as pain neuroscience education (PNE), clinical hypnosis (HC) and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) are options for we manage these patients. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study will be to evaluate the effects of OMT associated with PNE through HC on pain and disability in patients with CLBP compared to PNE and HC. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study design will be a randomized clinical trial and 40 adults diagnosed with chronic low back pain will be recruited. Subjects will be randomized in two groups: the first group (G1) will be submitted to the PNE based on information from the book "Explain Pain" with hypnotic suggestions. Group 2 (G2) will receive PNE following the book "Explain Pain" with hypnotic suggestions associated with OMT. Volunteers will be evaluated by a blind researcher the interventions performed in the allocation of groups. The evaluation moments will be pre-intervention and immediately after the end of the last intervention for G1 and G2. Volunteers continued to be evaluated 4 weeks after completion of the protocols. Pain will be evaluated as the main outcome, being evaluated by the numerical pain scale. Pain will also be assessed by the pressure threshold using a pressure algometer device (Fnd-50, PIAB 50-n, Italy) in the lumbar region. Still as the main outcome, disability will be assessed using the Oswestry Disability Questionnaire. As secondary outcomes, the patient's global impression of improvement, central sensitization, biopsychosocial factors will be evaluated. The patient's global impression of improvement will be assessed using the Percentage of Improvement Scale with a score of -5 to +5; the Central Sensitization will be assessed using the Central Sensitization Questionnaire and the biopsychosocial factors using the Start Beck Toll questionnaire. In addition, the behavior of the autonomic nervous system will be evaluated through the Heart Rate Variability (HRV), which will be analyzed through linear methods, in the domains of time and frequency, and by geometric indices. The researcher/evaluator will be blinded to the allocation of intervention groups. Given the nature of the study, it is impossible to blind the researcher/therapist and volunteers.

The purpose of this study is to determine how an important weight loss after bariatric surgery affects obese patients ' spine, and the effects it has on low back pain, sagittal alignment and lipomatosis .

It is estimated that 23% of Quebecers suffer from chronic low back pain, and that 12% are disabled by this condition. Despite medical advances, the origin of so-called 'nonspecific low back pain' remains enigmatic. Conventional imaging methods by computed tomography and magnetic resonance may provide information on vertebral structures. However, very often, they do not diagnose lesions that genuinely correlate with the patient's symptoms. The lack of accurate diagnosis limits the therapeutic management in these patients. Therefore, patients are increasingly turning to alternative and complementary medicine therapies (e.g., acupuncture, chiropractic , osteopathy, shiatsu) to relieve their pain. These therapies target painful areas of abnormal hardening in muscles of the lower back and aim to release the tension in these tissues to control pain. However, these painful areas and their resolution after manual therapy have yet to be demonstrated by means other than manual palpation. We will conduct a randomized controlled trial in chronic low back pain patients to examine the effects of acupuncture, chiropractic therapy and therapeutic massage on lower back muscular and connective tissues' physical properties using innovative ultrasound techniques.
