Our study aims to evaluate the role of ct-DNA and PBMC as biomarkers in the treatment of biliary tract cancer.

To determine whether a combined nutritional support program and exercise-based prehabilitation is superior to nutritional support alone in increasing functional recovery and reducing post-operative morbidity after surgery for HPB malignancy. To understand which measures of immediate surgical recovery are sensitive to prehabilitation interventions and predict change in later outcome measures.

The study consists in a co-clinical trial by using zebrafish embryos. Specifically, an observational prospective clinical trial on patients operated of epato-biliar-pancreatic cancers and gastro-intestinal cancers undergoing a chemotherapy treatment will be run concurrently to an animal trial on zebrafish embryos xenotransplanted with patient cancer cells in order to demonstrate that zebrafish model is able to predict the therapeutic regimen with the best efficacy for each patient.

This is an intermediate-size Expanded Access Protocol (EAP) for use of zanidatamab (ZW25) in patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive advanced biliary tract cancer (BTC) who are not eligible for other zanidatamab clinical trials, and who in the opinion of the treating oncologist, would potentially benefit from treatment with zanidatamab.

The purpose of this study is to investigate genetic mutations affecting prognosis using whole genome sequencing in patients with biliary tract cancer.
