IBD-related arthropathy is one of a group of inflammatory arthritides considered as seronegative spondyloarthropathies, a group of disorders that also includes ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, and undifferentiated SpA. IBD-related SpA is mainly characterized by axial involvement but may also be associated with peripheral symptoms, such as synovitis, dactylitis, or enthesitis

To collect human tissue, blood, and fecal samples from patients suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Colorectal Cancer. The samples will be used to establish biomimetic human organ-on-a-chip technology, as well as study the role of the microbiome in the pathogenesis in human gastrointestinal diseases.

EBI2 is a risk gene for inflammatory bowel diseases (rs9557195). Patients of the Swiss IBD cohort study have been genotyped for the allelic status of EBI2. The investigators will test the influence of rs9557195 genoty (TT or CC allel), inflammatory activity and current treatment (infliximab vs. vedolizumab) on expression and activity of EBI2 on blood lymphocytes, mRNA expression of EBI2 and UBAC2 (located on the opposite DNA strand of EBI2) and activity of lymphocytes on a migraton assay.

Descriptive study, in which the haemostatic profile of ambulatory patients with IBD will be analyzed by means of ROTEM and other techniques, such as the thrombin generation test and the study of platelet function by flow cytometry.

This pilot prospective study will investigate the role of microbiota and known enteropathogens in Acute Severe Ulcerative Colitis (ASUC). Investigators will compare a group of patients hospitalized for an ASUC with patients experiencing a Non-Severe Ulcerative Colitis (NSUC) flare by investigating microbiome, metabolome and transcriptome and integrating this data through a multi-omic framework. This systems biology approach aims at enhance our understanding of this severe event, define diagnosis and prognosis biomarkers to improve medical therapy and avoid colectomy and/or death.

To assess the prevalance of non_alcoholic fatty liver diseases in inflammatory bowel disease patients and its relation to type of treatment given and disease severity

Especially there was no data for Chinese IBD population. So we investigated the incidence and risk factors of HPV infection and cervical neoplasia (dysplasia or cancer) in female IBD patient.

The investigators wish to characterize alterations in the architecture and function of immune cells in patients with a primary immunodeficiency that also develop inflammatory bowel disease. In addition, The investigators' goal is to characterize the microbiome of these patients, in order to determine whether specific microbial alterations are related to inflammation.

The study aims to: Determine whether the density of epithelial gaps in terminal ileum of patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is different from that in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients and normal controls by confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE). Evaluate the relationship between the density of epithelial gaps and IBS subtypes, and visceral hypersensitivity.
