Phase angle (PhA) is a biometric parameter measured by bioimpedance analysis (BIA), which reflects organism cellularity and tissues hydration. In addition, since it correlates with the presence of inflammation and the nutritional status, it could be useful to monitor inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) activity. The aim of this study was to establish the potential use of PhA as a new non-invasive and sensitive marker correlated with mucosal healing and/or IBD activity.

Pathologically Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is in chronic complex inflammatory gut pathological condition. Although the etiology of IBD is unknown, gut microbiota alteration (dysbiosis) is considered a novel factor involved in the pathogenesis of IBD. The aim of this study is to analyze gut microbiota in IBD patients.

Greater advances are needed in two separate but related areas in healthcare: 1) the Clinical Decision Support Systems that complement the EHR use in support of routine patient care, population management and disease management; and 2) the use of the point-of-care observational data from the provider-patient encounter that support realworld medical research and healthcare quality measure assessment. Real-world evaluations of treatments of chronic diseases in the context of comorbid conditions and special populations (minorities, women, mentally ill, and those with addiction) are limited. The purpose of the OPERA database is to help address this unmet need in clinical research.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the incidence and natural course of inflammatory bowel disease in the southeastern area of Korea.

CoRDS, or the Coordination of Rare Diseases at Sanford, is based at Sanford Research in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It provides researchers with a centralized, international patient registry for all rare diseases. This program allows patients and researchers to connect as easily as possible to help advance treatments and cures for rare diseases. The CoRDS team works with patient advocacy groups, individuals and researchers to help in the advancement of research in over 7,000 rare diseases. Patients seen at the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease will be asked to provide their written informed consent (authorization) to allow their identifiable medical record information related to their Inflammatory Bowel Disease to be placed in Center's Research Registry for the purpose of facilitating retrospective research studies directed at Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and the identification and recruitment of potential, eligible subjects for participation in future research studies involving Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Information obtained from the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Registry will allow a better classification of disease and factors that influence the natural course of disease; which may lead to a better understanding of the pathogenesis of IBD and may permit the development of better therapies and the potential for preventive therapies.

The study focuses the mechanisms underlying the loss of intestinal homeostasis in celiac disease, refractory celiac disease and other immune diseases such as monogenic enteropathy, inflammatory bowel diseases or drug induced intestinal diseases. Mechanisms of transformation of lymphocytes leading to onset of lymphomatous complications of immune enteropathies will be investigated. Mechanisms of loss of hepatic lymphocytic homeostasis will also be assessed in liver associated diseases.

Aim of the study;To record the vascular changes that may be present in the posterior segment of patients suffering from Inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD) using the optical coherence tomography angiography

In the general population, the percentage of people with at least one digestive disease is 16.7%. Among these digestive diseases, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and patients who should benefit from digestive examinations as part of a screening oriented either by the patient's family history or following the performance of an immunological screening test ( FIT) in the stool will be studied. The aim of this project is to build a biological collection with associated clinical data for research projects.

The investigators intend to establish a prospective registry of patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease at Parirenyatwa hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe. The study will periodically collect data on disease phenotype, disease course, and clinical management, and will biobank stool specimens and germline DNA. One relative, and an individual from the same neighbourhood will be also be recruited for a nested case-control study into risk factors of inflammatory bowel disease in this population.
